I've had take out from here several times, but this was my first time in the restaurant and it was great! Chill atmosphere and a big bar, it'd be great for date night or a big group like us, there were a couple guys sitting at the bar having a bite at the end of the day... Everything we ordered from Kitchen Tales was delicious! I ordered the cheeseburger plus bacon with a side salad. It was an 8 oz pattie on a brioche bun. Very good! Also ordered at our table was the chicken fried steak, quesadillas, breakfast tacos and breakfast hash skillet. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Not only were the meals to our liking, our server was very friendly and checked on us often but too often. Great service. We will definitely come back! 2nd time I've been here over the years. Place fills up fast for a reason so there may be a wait. Bloody Mary's are delicious and the food always tastes so fresh. First time here. The service was impeccable. Lily was attentive with perfect timing & didn't hover or crowd us. I had the chicken fried steak, which was quite yummy. The French fries were amazing! The food (Southwest Omelette) and drink were awesome! The omelette was delicious, the potatoes were crispy, and the jalapeno aoli was spicy! Monday @ 11am, ordered Lamb Shank, Shrimp and Grit, and Chicken Fried Steak. The last two are good but the lamb was EXCEPTIONAL! It was tender, it was juicy, it tasted divine. By noon all the locals start filling out the place and only two tables were empty by the time we left at 1pm. Attentive service, lovely staff. Will go again to try other items on the menu. Our breakfast was good! The spiked milkshakes are always a great start to the meal. We definitely liked the pecan crusted French toast, and the chicken & waffles were awesome too. Great, crispy, flavorful. The chilaquiles were good, but the chips got a little too soggy. Definitely recommend! Looking forward to coming back to Kitchen Tales for lunch or dinner.
