This restaurant is a gem. If you sit by a window in the bar or dining area, you'll have an lovely view of the Bay at the Richmond Marina. A convivial atmosphere. The owner, Lara, is usually present, and may sing an aria if she stops at your table. A mostly Italian menu, the food is always great. Tried the crab cakes, clam chowder, and prosciutto pizza. Crab cakes 4/5 actual crab lightly breaded. Clam chowder 1/5. Watery, not rich, real clams that unfortunately came w 3 spoons of sand. Pizza 5/5. Hand tossed and light like what you'd get in Italy. An american serving on the toppings. Took a star off for the chowder and one for the price. All 3 water cups stayed empty since before the food arrived. When it did arrive the server had my wife pass around the dishes. Not quite the fine dining I'd expect. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

I came here with a large group of women. There was plenty of free parking in the free parking lot. This place is one of Richmond's hidden jewels. It's situated right on the marina bay for fantastic views on non cloudy days. The friendly hostess seated us right away. The wait staff was very responsive to our needs. Each order was taken with patience and care. I had the corn chowder as an appetizer, the shrimp omlete that was served with potatoes and freshly cut fruit as my main entree, then the cheesecake for dessert packed to go. Everything was delicious. The white linen tablecloths, napkins, and fine china set against the view of the bay gave a more formal ambiance. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Will definitely be back to try more entrees on the menu. Highly recommend for groups, events, or datenight.
