I always enjoyed eating at this place and I understand they get busy but when they serve your food to another table and then pick it up and reserve it to you so you start eating your food and you asked for drinks and they don’t take them to you so you have to stop eating that way you won’t choke and then they give you a attitude instead making it right this place is not what it is anymore they suck big time

Food is fantastic. Service is good. Atmosphere not so much. Always crowded and you have to wait quite a bit for the food on peak hours. Looks like they should have more staff at those times and they allow people off the street to go in and play music and most of the times is too loud and then they go around asking for money while you are eating. Maybe they should not allow that. The rest of the time they have Banda music playing loud on the TVs so we opted to pickup the food and take it home to avoid the hassles at the restaurant.

The worst service and the gorditas went up in price, not worth 3.25 bc they dont have much meat. Go to duranguito and pay $5 but you get super full with 1.

02/08/24 I came here today, and I had a bad experience. I ordered my food, and she brought me the wrong order. I didn’t say anything. I then ordered take out and they gave me the wrong order. I told the cashier that my order was wrong, and she got bothered. She was very disrespectful, I didn’t say anything to make her talk to me in that way. I just wanted my right order. She told me that there are people like that. That say they get the wrong order so they don’t have to pay. I asked for her name and she disrespectfully said that she wouldn’t give me her name. One goes to consume here, not to get things for free. Unfortunately the people working here don’t know how to treat the client in a respectful manner. The cashier is a young lady and it seemed like she was the one in charge. I won’t be coming here again just to be treated like this.

EDIT/UPDATE: Well, happy to say that the owner got a hold of this post. He contacted me last night. He offered to refund my money or give me the right order and offered an apology due the experience we went through. They make DAMN good gorditas, so without hesitating I asked him to replace the 12 gorditas, which he did! I deleted the original pics and added this one from my order I picked up today.
Mistakes happen, and we are happy with the food Las Gorditas De Don Angel serves. BEST DAMN GORDITAS!!!
Bueno, me alegra decir que el propietario consiguió esta publicación. Me contactó anoche. Ofreció a reembolsarme el dinero o darme el pedido correcto y se disculpó por la experiencia que atravesamos. Hacen MUY buenas gorditas, así que sin dudarlo le pedí que reemplazara las 12 gorditas, ¡lo cual hizo! Eliminé las fotos originales y agregué esta de mi pedido que recogí hoy.
Los errores ocurren y estamos contentos con la comida que sirve Las Gorditas De Don Angel. ¡¡¡LAS MEJORES GORDITAS!!!

We placed an order which consisted of 12 bean and cheese gorditas, on Sunday 1/28 at 12:49 pm, for dinner. They made a mistake and gave us the wrong ingredients. I called at 7pm to inform them of their mistake. After being on hold they told they had no proof since the morning shift had left and they no longer had the receipts or proof of my order. They would not let me speak to a manager and would not replace the order even after I would drive 20 minutes to return the 12 incorrect gorditas. They would not do it! My loss for not checking them. Thanks for nothing!
Hicimos un pedido que consistía en 12 gorditas de frijoles y queso, el domingo 28/01 a las 12:49 pm, para cenar. Cometieron un error y nos dieron los ingredientes equivocados. Llamé a las 7 pm para informarles de su error. Después de estar en espera me dijeron que no tenían comprobantes ya que se había ido el turno de la mañana y ya no tenían los recibos ni comprobantes de mi pedido. No me dejaron hablar con el gerente y no reemplazaron el pedido incluso después de conducir 20 minutos para devolver las 12 gorditas incorrectas. ¡No lo harían! Mi pérdida por no revisarlos. ¡Gracias por nada!
