We had a party of 15 and everyone ordered something different from the menu. The place was pretty full and we had no problems with getting our drinks and food promptly. Everything went very smoothly and the food was absolutely delicious. Not a single complaint. I recommend this place for authentic Mexican food at a fair price with a wide variety of options. We were coming here years ago alot. Great waiters. Friendly and appreciated our business. Food was great and fast. We were there over the weekend. Service was slow. Not friendly at all. Had a chimichanga came. A tortilla was not fried with no taste to the hamburger with cheese sauce on it. Also had faitjtas steak was fried hard could not eat it. Salsa and chips served after we were seated and were great. Ordered chicken chimichanga for lunch and it was served very quickly and tasted excellent! Staff was very friendly. Highly recommended. This place used to be so good, but has gone downhill. I could handle how the portions have gotten smaller and prices have gone up a lot, but not when the quality of food starts to go down too. The salsa is now mostly tomato juice and the chips have been stale every visit for a years. We’ve ordered different items and either there is ingredients missing, burnt, tastes old or mediocre. Today was the last straw when we ordered to go and my order which only has 4 ingredients and easy to throw together, had 2 of the ingredients missing and 1 was burnt, I just threw it away. On top of it all the male servers were always rude/unfriendly to a point we stopped dining in but started to order to go, but won’t even take out anymore. We like supporting family owned & local business, especially because they’re ethnic & resisted writing a bad review because of all this. Though over the years to continue to provide bad service, high prices, subpar or missing food and not try to improve because they’re possibly thinking they will continue to go untouched by the mass Hastings restaurant shutdowns is sheer arrogance.

Nothing but praise for Las Margaritas in Hastings, MN! The food and the atmosphere are both amazing, but it is the staff that made my daughter's bridesmaid's luncheon a tremendous success. Osie is THE BEST and she did an amazing job keeping up with 15 very excited young women all talking at once. The menu is extensive so there was lots of selection for both appetizers and meals, and all were delicious. Adding to our fun was the large selection of margaritas that were both huge and refreshing! The special decor of colorful, hand-made Mexican furniture and lighting made for a festive and fun event, and we are very grateful to Las Margaritas for taking excellent personal care of us on such a special day!
