Pretty much our go to for NY style in Denver. Always pretty consistent and a good value. However I will say the Margherita pizza is a lot different than normal. No red sauce and very thinly sliced tomatoes. I got a square pizza cut also when never have gotten one here before. Idk what that was... But everything else is very decent every time!

My husband and I made a last minute trip to Colorado 4 years ago right as things were shutting down due to covid. TO THIS DAY - we still say making the sudden decision to stop at Lil Riccis and get some pizza was one of the best we made on our trip. Every year when our trip comes up on our memories the first thing we talk about is how delicious the pizza was. It was THAT memorable for us. We miss the pizza. Not sure if we will ever make it back there, but thanks for the memories and pizza! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Pretty cool little neighborhood mom n pop pizza joint. Pizza is the big, thin, NY style pizza. It’s a good place to watch sports. Pizza is great quality. They don’t stay open that late though, and aren’t going to take an order at 8:59. So just make sure you plan accordingly if you like to eat pizza late at night like I do. Listen. If you are in the Golden area or within a 100 mile radius I highly recommend stopping in. True NY pie. It is delicious. I can’t say enough about it. Go there. Go there. Do it. Great little place to get a bite to eat while in the area or waiting on the DMV a few doors down. The only thing I didn't like was the kind of cheese used on my pizza. I'm not a fan of thick rubbery cheese. Otherwise, it was a great place. They do have two gluten-free size crusts, but if you have celiac or high sensitivity, stay clear.
