What a great little coffee shop. I ordered an almond milk macchiato. It was delicious. The presentation of the macchiato was average, so I wanted to test out the flavor of the cortado. I ordered a cortado with the unsweetened almond milk. The flavor of the cortado was perfect. The presentation was average. I usually look for a beautiful presentation, but as long as the flavor is amazing, I'm OK with it They have some baked goods here. They offer several different types of muffins and cookies. They also sell bags of whole bean coffee, honey, etc. The staff was amazing. The woman that waited on me was very kind, helpful and friendly. I like the message this coffee shop is sending to. They sell some shirts that are basically about being a kind person and a good human. I love that message. This was a great little find. They lose one star for presentation.

A Shot of Espresso
Live Oak is a great coffee shop. They serve fresh, delicious coffee, have great food options, and the atmosphere is chill and quiet. I love the plants in different stages throughout the shop. Seeing the propagation station progress is super satisfying and cool to me. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating for any drink requests you might have.

The biggest shoutout to Steven at the Live Oak Uptown location. He was the only one behind the bar and was giving every customer who walked in the same experience as the last. With multiple drinks to be made and food items to take care of, he worked diligently an did his best with what he could do as one person with multiple orders.
You’re lucky if you have your drink made by Steven, he makes a killer iced vanilla latte!
