Place was busy both nights we ate here! Sat at the bar until our table was ready. The bar makes a great limon and sour! Really enjoyed them! Food was delicious. Had prime one night and walleye the next night. Both were great. Food came out in a timely manner for as busy as they were. The waitress both nights were great. Very attentive. Enjoyed the fact that we could have a great meal with out having to leave the hotel. Might be the worst service available. Called twice with ni answer, walked in to ask for room service and got denied. Called two more times and got one answer, ordered, got cold food and sent it back. If the bare minimum is what you expect, Lyric is your place. If you want edible food, look elsewhere; Lyric is trash.if you notice, this is review number 2, so much for benefit of the doubt, find competence in your staff. Clowns. We were In duluth for the weekend and we always try to find somewhere different to eat each time we are here. As burger fans, we read the reviews here and seemed pretty optimistic about what to order! We showed up at about 5pm (just in time too as the dinner rush showed up minutes later). The greet staff wasng standing there for a few minutes when we walked in, but then we were seated. The waitress was friendly but very awkward. Prices are about 15-18$ for the burgers. We both ordered one, along with jumbo tots for an appetizer. The tots came out fast, and they were actually really good. They were crispy, hot, and just really pleasing. The fries that came with the burger were borderline cold/soggy and we didn't even eat them. Now for the burgers... they LOOKED great, but apon eating we couldn't even finish them. The grease was overbearing, the plate was drenched in it and you couldn't touch anything without wiping your hands profusely after touching it. We were honestly sick to our stomachs. Maybe it was an off night, maybe burgers aren't their specialty, I'd just suggest another meal. Visiting and exploring Duluth on a cold day. Stopped in for a quick drink. Very pleasant bartender. She had good recommendations. Nice atmosphere. Menu looks fantastic. Food was fantastic had beef power bowl very good little spicy but I like that. Cheesecake was good too. Definitely come back. We were in town for Bentleyville. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
