Amazing coffee, food, and service. Why am I leaving a 1-star review? Because when you pay for your food, they bring over the little digital device, you insert your credit card, and the screen asks if you want to tip 18, 20, or 30% on top of your bill (in my case the screen showed $62.80 and asked how much I wanted to tip). I selected 20% - but guess what? The amount they show ($62.80) ALREADY includes 18% tip, so I ended up tipping almost 40%. I only realized this when I got home and noticed the receipt said 18% gratuity - which was odd because I had selected 20 - and then I realized my 20 was added on top of the 18. I'm extremely supportive of tips and service workers, but this is an absolute scam. When the tip is included the window should ask if you want to leave an additional gratuity of 3, 5, 8, or "other". A shame to see a great restaurant with great food, coffee, service, and vibe, decide to trick their customers. Shame I won't be back.
