Our server was highly attentive and did a great job. Our food was done just perfect save for a Mac and cheese which was cold. They corrected it super fast to their credit and (it was really good gouda Mac and cheese) replaced it within time for it to be enjoyed with the rest of the meal. Desserts were top notch as well. My husband and I took our 4 and 2 year olds for brunch, which can be a risky move. It was awesome all around! Our server Russell set the mood with his welcoming personality, his knowledge of the menu, his enthusiasm and his kindness! Did we just become best friends!?!? He made our drinks-delicious blood Mary and perfect mimosa! And the food-*chefs kiss*!! What a great morning and what delicious food! You must go! I've had many phenomenal meals here, and tonight was no exception. I started with the Cafe salad, with pears, candied walnuts, and gorgonzola cheese. It was delicious ! Then, I had one of the finest pieces of prime rib I ever put in my mouth. Rare and flavorful, with horseradish cream sauce and au jus on the side, along with some mashed potatoes, topped with their Hungarian mushroom soup. If you enjoy good food, you owe it to yourself to check out Main & Market ! Update 12/31/23 Had our New Year's Eve dinner here. Started with Gouda and onion cheese puffs. They were just ok. Then a bowl of their amazing Hungarian mushroom soup that is my favorite. The above mentioned cafe salad and far the main course, Beef Wellington. It was so good. Ever since I started visiting Main & Market’s cafe in 2010, the cafe has consistently provided good food and good service. It’s a restaurant I can count on! The staff, especially, create a welcoming atmosphere. For instance, today our server, Wayne, was not only personable and efficient but he also accommodated and anticipated our needs. In addition, the manager, Lloyd, stopped by our table and, finding that I preferred shredded cheese to cheese sauce, immediately offered to replace my meal at no charge. Now that’s customer service! Having enjoyed today’s brunch, my friends and I are looking forward to returning for the cafe’s special New Year’s Eve dinner.
