Back around 2005 I had an small taxi company on Oak St.Copague, and most of your kitchen employees back than were our customers. One night I stayed till late, when one of your employees called for a ride and recognized my voice and was surprised that I was still working (because in the morning on the way to Mama’s I answered his call) very kindly offered to send me a pizza with the driver that was going to pick him up, almost 20 years later, and after seeing the big change from a humble pizzeria ( but super good) to a restaurant/pizzeria until its last major renovation ,now ,with a wife and 2 beautiful children and over 300+ visits between taking out and dining in , I can say that it is still one of our favorite restaurants on LI, the food has kept very consistent throughout the years ,( I rather see an increase on the price over a decreased on quality) The pizza I got 20 years ago that made me a loyal customer till today, was the shrimp pesto pie!! everyone's favorite at home, almost all of my friends have visited at least once your restaurant and some have become regulars too. With the exception of one occasion that we got a relatively bad service, besides that every other time it has been nothing but very good service and great food, Highly recommend A+++++ Service Dine in Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pizza

What can I say about this place besides how delicious it is! I haven’t tried much of their meals besides the chicken dishes they have on Thursdays. I have recently expanded my options with them and tried their pizza. The pizza is amazing! I would highly recommend their pepperoni slice/pie. I have tried a few different slices all which have been great as well, but it’s something about their pepperoni pie that has me hooked. The sauce they use is amazing as well!! I love mamas food so it actually hurts me to leave this review! Food was amazing as indicated by the 5 star review but the service was the worst experience I’ve had in a very long time. We arrived around 6:30 and was told there would be a 30 minute wait which was totally accurate and the hostess was extremely nice and friendly! We were starving so we immediately ordered as soon as we saw our waiter and the food came out in great timing and was delicious …. However once we got our food we were totally forgotten about. We waited about 30 minutes to get it wrapped up and another 10 for our waiter to come and offer dessert. Then we waited another 30 minutes to order dessert. Once served dessert we asked for drink refills specifically water as we thought it would be the easiest, we received some more water once dessert was finished and after the bill. Also- we were seated in a booth and the table next to us was over stuffed and practically sitting at our table. We could hardly get up to use the restroom. Overall, I love the food here I was just disappointed by the service. We were at the restaurant from about 3 hrs not including waiting and only ordered entree and dessert and as stated above we ordered entree immediately. I feel that we are very understanding when it comes to waiting and the restaurant being packed but it just seemed like no one cared and we were forgotten about.
