Really good stuff. My first visit was really Risky Biscuits. Just plain biscuits and gravy that would satisfy a country boy. While waiting for my order I watched them fold and roll out the dough for the biscuits.
Next visit was The Farmer. Apple butter, fried chicken, bacon, and cheddar. It's a mix of sweet and savory. It's good but it's just not my thing. I prefer something more savory.
On the weekends there was a bit of a wait and you may have trouble seating a large group.

Me and my wife were BLOWN AWAY at how good this place was. The service was amazing, and even though I got carry out and was a little late to pick it up, it was STILL amazing and hot. I would recommend this place to anyone. Plus, it was pretty cheap for how much food you get. We'll definitely be coming back here in our future visits to johnson city.

Walking in, you order right out of the gate and sit down and wait for your name to get called. I do wish they had more pictures of what you are ordering.
service is quick and easy with good customer service.
Food was good, not great. Certain things like the biscuits and gravy (it has a little kick to it) and fried steak sandwich was good. french toast left more to be desired and the hashbrown things were not great.
Overall, a bit pricey and while i say it’s worthy of a one time go, not sure I’ll be back as there are better breakfast spots.

Staff is always super friendly and the food is delicious! I also love their Maple Tap coffee. My friend tried the Peppermint Latte and it was sooo good. Not too sweet which was perfect; a lot of other places tend to sweeten their lattes too much. I always order the same thing when I come in- Bluegrass Grits Bowl- because I love grits and am not a big fan of biscuits. However, the iced cinnamon biscuit is very yummy!

Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had at a restaurant! The atmosphere was great! Bar style sitting areas with plug-ins for your laptops or chargers, tables and chairs, a huge party table, small tables for a couple. Assortments of coffee was essentially on tap for all the coffee lovers. We tried a little bit of a lot when we went today and all of it was EXCELLENT and cooked to perfection! Together we ordered the "Potatoes O'Ryan", with a side of "Smashbrowns", the breakfast meatballs with a delicious blueberry sauce to dip in, and the "Bluegrass grits bowl"...these dishes were all amazing, and like I said cooked to perfection. As far as when they call out your order being ready, I'll leave that joyful moment for your surprise, it's well worth it! Super friendly staff and super clean environment! MUST give this place a try! Each dish we had, was under $10! 10 out of 5 stars for us for sure!

Risky Biscuit
The food was really good, we would definitely come back if in the area. The only flaw was we waited 45 min in line to order then another 10-15 to get our food. We weren’t in a hurry so it wasn’t a deal charger today. It was plenty of open seats just a slow process at taking orders.
