The restaurant was clean. The service was amazing. My daughter had surgery and wanted to stop. The manager was awesome and asked her what she would like and if she would like to pick out her prize. She was tickled pink. They made this mama proud to stop, because of interacting with her. It was a relaxing time to be able to have lunch. Thank you. I wish they would get Theresa back. Her smile always was great to see. And she made sure the place ran like a clock. Now it's basically a bunch of kids, plus the couple of good window people that worked with Theresa. Just overall disappointed with the food as well as the lack of service. I don’t think I’ll be going back to the University Avenue McDonald’s again. It’s not like I go here for the customer service just convince but they have terrible customer service. So rude and unhappy to paying customers. They couldn’t even get a Sausage McMuffin and Hash Brown order right (missing hash brown) with a practically empty dinning room. Standing around with their arms crossed. Not even saying a word back when I had to go back in for my missing item. Management witnessing all of this and un-phased. Try harder or get a different job if you’re so unhappy working in fast food. No need to to be rude to people who are being nice to you and understand your line of work can be difficult. Second experience of this happening at this location. Would give this McDonald's in particular 0 stars if I could. All I wanted to do was cancel a mobile order that I placed for the wrong location. Called at 4 different times throughout the evening and no one would even pick up the phone. Ridiculous. Hard pass on the spicy chicken. Was crusty, chewy, flavorless, tasted like eating table salt. Burnt buns. I usually don’t comment on fast food, but don’t waste your $4.50 here. Isn’t there supposed to be lettuce or tomato?
