This place is just always short staffed and it's always a coin toss on what service or food quality you're going to get. As one of the only 24 hour McDonald's near STL City, this isn't one to rely on. They have also stopped taking drive thru orders past a certain time so it being open 24/7 is only available to delivery. This place is the worst.

I visited this location to order the regular for my kids and I (2 6 piece, happy meals, quarter pounder meal, 10 piece meal, and a six piece on the side.) at the window and ordering at first, my order was rushed, but then confirmed before I went to the first window to pay. I proceeded to the second window. I was handed two drinks for the happy meals and a bag that contained a 10 piece nugget and a quarter pounder only , the gentleman at the window tells me hang tight at this point. I’m under the impression that he is going to give me the remainder of my order. He hand me only two happy meals. I let him know that I am missing part of my order. He asked me what I was missing. I told him the completion of my two meals plus the six piece. He tells me they were not on his screen and I requested for him to print out the receipt. He goes to get it and we confirm that not only was in that added as a meal obviously I was not charged I let him know. I have no problem in paying for it to just create a order for fries and drinks and the 6 feet he tells me I would need to go and make the line for the drive-through because he has no way of charging me for it On his. He even tells me that I cannot order it from the dining room, because I have to make the order how it was initially placed I pull forward went into the dining room spoke to a manager, expressed to him what just happened.what just happened. Meanwhile, the same gentleman is being offensive and verbally abusive towards me, and at no point did I adjust my conversation to him. I even expressed to him that I wasn’t mad at him that I was so upset with the person that took my order. This gentleman continues to be offensive to the point where he open. “flicks me off” in front of everyone that was there. At one point, the customers approach the counter, and were telling him and the manager that something needed to be done because he was out of line. Nothing was done. I’ve called the store and spoke to the assistant manager and he informed me this person would be getting a written documentation to record his actions because “he’s been with them for so long and they’ve never had a complaint about him before”. With his behavior, there is no way a prior incident, or multiple, did not make him as confident enough to show himself the way he did on February 21, 2024. The items missing, for my order were given, and they even offered to give me extra items which I refuse, and did return to them, because I was not looking for any free items. I was simply looking for decent service as a paying patron.

Keeping my initial review below to show the change that has occurred. This location was amazing for 5 months for me, but recently has taken a turn. I've received burnt eggs and very poor quality coffee the last few times and management is annoyed by me asking for a fix. All I ask for is consistency with what I order every morning. I'm not paying any less than usual, so why should my food and coffee be less?

Beautiful experience for breakfast time every day. The biscuits are perfectly cooked and buttered, and the coffee is rich, bold, and well flavored. I have about 5 McDonald's locations on my way to work, and this one has made me a permanent breakfast time customer now. Thanks for making my morning so much less stressful!

My husband frequents this restaurant. He went 2 days in a row on his break from work. The first day, the GM, Elsee(?) coughed in her hand n proceeded to prepare his food. He brought it to her attention, another customer was standing next to him n witnessed it. Today, he was eating his burger, in the parking lot, n bit into one the expiration tags. (See pic). When he took it back in, the same GM was unprofessional about the entire situation. She was quick to tell him that she hasn't had any complaints..... Isn't this ONE too many? Asking for a refund wasn't about the money, that isn't a problem. It is a lack of accountability, work ethic, tryna look a certain way in front of other customers n employees......it doesn't impress me. What would be impressive is doing your job effectively n efficiently. I have also been at this location n the drivethru personnel is quite rude. They act as if the customer is bothering them..... YOU applied to work here. I am amazed at the lack of work ethic nowadays. We've worked the positions you are in....... We did NOT treat customers like this. Back then, if you did..... You no longer were employed. We customers spending OUR money here keep YOU employed.
