It’s a McDonalds; greatness is not to be expected. However, what IS to be expected is a bit of competence on the part of the management or franchisee of this location. I came in at 10:30pm after placing a mobile order, only to find out after waiting for 10 minutes that they suddenly changed their hours. They did not post it on their Google business page, and they ESPECIALLY did not post it on the McDonald’s app. As a result, I am now out $3 because the app does not do refunds (sure it’s just three dollars, but that is still MY money). More annoyingly, I wasted 25 minutes of my night. 5 minutes driving there, 10 minutes waiting, 5 minutes writing this review, and another 5 driving home. This is no fault of the workers; they are not guilty of their bosses’ incompetence. This review is aimed DIRECTLY at the people who should be smart enough to update their hours online. Order breakfast there before I went fishing for the day. Breakfast was cold. Went back they told me I should not get refund for my order because I had all ready left for 5 min down the road. When you can talk with the regulars who live in this little town and you b**** about certain things not working but you like hanging around, one thing's for sure..... the place is all-inclusive, at peak times has crazy high demand inside and out, new owners, Young, I'm told. Grrrreat!!! As in Tony, the Tiger. I initially met everybody through doordash, and you know I have my own agenda. And I can absolutely tell you that every single person in the place is lovely. Each in their own way. I'm scheduled to have my bearings fixed on Monday, and then I'll have to travel on. I'll always have you guys. This McDonald's was at a Loves. Stopped for coffee on a 7 hr trip, Had lots of staff there but took several minutes for someone to come to register. Lady was pleasant when she came to register however. ordered a hot mocha latte (no whipped cream). What I got was horrible. It tasted like extremely weak hot chocolate, not a mocha. But I was already several miles down the road when it cooled enough to taste. Removed the lid to look & there was some slimey looking brownish stuff on one side of the cup. Gross! Haven't been to a McDonald's in decades, but I took a quick rest break on road trip yesterday. Have recently heard that McDonald's serves a Coca-Cola blended especially for McDonald's, and it is supposed to be better. I could not tell the difference. Service and cleanliness were as you would expect.....needs lots of improvement. Perhaps they should benchmark against Chick-fil-A. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Not my first time stopping at a McDonald’s much less give a 5 stars. But i am no stranger o having my food come out not as i ordered. But today getting my order, hotnspicy it was not edible. It was overcooked so it felt like cardboard , you may ask then why 5⭐️. The manager or at least i feel she was. She was extremely attentive i walked up asked for a new one. She did not hesitate to replace it but she spoke up and got on her team. Multiple times while we ate our food she got on them. Yes it might seem like she was hard on them but honestly i feel if more manager in McDonalds did this. They would not have such bad reputations. Well she was wearing the blue shirt and had braids. If anyone knows her give her a raise. She is a true leader. Doesnt matter where you work in order to give good service. The food was fine, it’s the aggressive, rude employee (maroon pants and cano hat) calling his coworkers stupid and yelling at the top of his lungs that’s scaring me and everyone else. They no longer have self serve drinks, so you have to rely on employees to get your drinks for you. But it's hard to find an employee willing and able to help you. Today my family ordered at the kiosk... Two Filet O Fish meals and a McCrispy sandwich with a coke. It took over 25 minutes for our meal to come out. If we had self service drink service, we could have at least enjoyed our drinks while waiting. When we finally got our food and drinks delivered, I noticed my drink had absolutely no ice. No problem. I'll just go up to the counter to get some. That took another 10 minutes until I could finally get someone to help me. Please bring the self service machines back or have more people available to help customers. Other McDonald's locations still have self service beverage stations. I miss them.
