It's a pleasant experience to try good biscuits. Choose great coffee, you won't regret it. Guests don't highly appreciate cheeseburgers at this fast food. Choose the drive thru and it was slow moving. The first cashier did not greet at the window, normal for most McDonald’s. The second who gave us our food did give a smile. Fries were hot and salted well. Food was all hot and as ordered. We stopped here to grab a quick bite. The service was fast and since we went through the drive thru the atmosphere was very good. The food was lacking however. I ordered a big Mac meal with no pickles and no lettuce. When I opened my bag and tasted a French Fry, it was cold. So I went to get my burger and when I opened the box my sandwich was over flowing with lettuce. There is no way to remove the lettuce while riding down the interstate in the dark without making a mess. Not an experience I would recommend or one that I would care to repeat. This is was a great experience. We are from Tennessee traveling to Myrtle beach. Stopped to use the bathroom and grab a crispy coke. The employees were all so friendly and they got my order quickly. Such a great atmosphere. So different from my hometown McDonald’s. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The staff was SUPER friendly. The food was delicious. They got a bus of ROTC students in right after we ordered, and their attitudes were so positive. They were like, let's get them in and get them out. Very eager to satisfy the kids. First visit here to this McDonald's in Sumter. This is located on sumter hwy and convenient to the interstate. Order sausage egg McMuffin, hash browns and bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The McMuffin was nice and hot off the grill as well as the hash browns. However, the bacon egg and cheese biscuit was a little soggy and it was disappointing. I was passing through and do not frequent that area. Customer was friendly from both drive thru windows. I will recommend but check your food before leaving.
