Very tasty kibbeling (fried fish) and very nice fresh and smoked fish, great location in Zoutelande very close to the beach, plenty of seats available for a quick and tasty lunch

Awesome fish and fries. You get fresh fish and you can chose your filet. Also the biggest pots of kibbeling I have ever seen.

Last afternoon we ordered some fish, squid and fries for take away.
After two bites I noticed one of the fish had ammonia taste/smell, and I stopped
eating it.
Today I woke up with an upset stomach, I’m glad I noticed a weird taste that not even the fried batter and the tartar sauce could cover, otherwise all my family would be sick.
Okay kibbeling. Certainly not the best and quite pricey. 300 grams for 5,70 euro. Knowing this place is touristy I guess the prices can be expected to be on the high side though. Free parking around. Two EV chargers for cars and four for electric bicycles available.
Attention with the stress of the owner! They gave us a number for our order, we waited outside (3m away). After 20 min I entered and our food were at the side of the counter, the woman saw me and said the number in Dutch.. ok, we payed, we tried the food and it was cold. My husband asked to reheat its plate, the owner violently touched the food! He screamed that it wasn't cold, threw away the fish, gave us the money and kicked us out...
Never in my life I lived something similar. I hope the fact that we were foreigners, didn't have anything to do with that.
Everything is sooo nice! Just really kibbeling could be little bit less fatty. But still 4/5 with everything! Nice place to eat could be Local Fishy Fast Food;) i like it!
The food is tasty for reasonable price. Great place to try fresh Dutch traditional seafood. And the promenade, the beach and the view are great - just a couple of metres from this place.
Was here several times this Aug and two years before. I tell U - eat here as much as You can. Really fresh fishes an sea food fried really fast and perfect. I tried everything an never been dissapointed...
