Totally ordered food and didn’t realize they had onions in the chicken wrap. I took a bite and that’s when I realized the onions. This place is too notch and remade my order without onions even though it was my fault for over looking the menu. Will be back this is great food and great service.

We happened upon Memo's while out for a ride on a sunny but cold Sunday afternoon. We were looking for a restaurant and saw Memo's. My husband and I like breakfast any time of day. I had pancakes and bacon. I like crisp bacon and requested that. It was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered French Toast and sausage. He said the sausage was the best he'd ever tasted. He gave me a taste and I had to agree with him. We live in Michigan, but will visit this restaurant again and recommend it to friends.

Stuffed French Toast
Since I never been to Michigan City, IN, and Memo's was recommended to me by my hotel's front desk staff, I decided to check it out. Food was wonderful and it was a quick 15-minute drive from New Buffalo, MI. Prices are reasonable for what you order and that was welcomed. So many different and delicious meals, too. Hard to pick just one. Chose the potato pancakes, eggs and bacon. The other breakfast ordered was chocolate chip pancakes, eggs and bacon. No toast was served with any of my orders. Disappointed with that aspect, but food was very good.
This place was busy, but not overcrowded. Meals came in a reasonable amount of time.
As for the server, he wasn't that good. It was like a chore for him to wait on just the two of us. He seemed to have an attitude and spoke so fast and quietly, I had to have him repeat almost everything twice. He rarely came back to check on us after serving the meal. I wasn't impressed with him as a server at all, however, everyone else I came in contact with was wonderful.
So, for a decent breakfast or lunch... or dinner, this is a good place to go. I won't hold the poor wait service against Memo's and will give it a try again when visiting Michigan City next year.

This was my chicken spinach panini sandwich, and it was outstanding! This place is so full of relaxed ambiance, character, and coziness! Go there! It's a marvelous dining experience!

I had the best breakfast today. I got the chilaquiles and they were so so good. My hubby got corn beef hash pancakes and eggs he was happy. I also ordered the stuff French toast. They were the best French toast I have ever had. The portions were big and the prices were very reasonable. It’s sad I might never return because we are just passing by on our way back to Minnesota. Our server was also so so nice and attentive. I highly recommend eating here.

The food here was great. I got the veggie omelette with home fries and pancakes. The omelette was portioned very well and the home fries even though they looked dull tasted great. I did not eat the pancake because I was already full but I have to say I enjoyed the meal. The food was priced well for the portions you receive. Next time I am in the area I will be sure to stop in.
