This location is top notch!! Vicky is the best bartender. She goes above and beyond every single time. I come back to this location for her. Vicky for president!!! She is perfect in every way. We went to Miller's to celebrate my nephews birthday and they did not disappoint. I wish I would've have gotten her name, but the waitress was super attentive and every time she came to our table she addressed him as "birthday boy"! This made him feel so special and recognized. I had the Titos Strawberry Lemonade and a Mai Tai, both were great. The food was so good and we had a variety of meals...from the Zingers to Shank to the Prime Burger. It was all fantastic. We are honestly here 3 or 4 days per week. Mostly due to the people who work here, but it's also close to home and we like the outside patio. Inside it's usually just too cold, but then anyone who works or goes here has known that for years. The facility/property management people have neglected the restaurant for years, so it needs a lot of TLC, but that doesn't keep us away. I am however really tired of getting precooked and redipped Zingers that come out rock hard and shriveled. These things are amazing when they are dropped fresh, but it's really rare that I ever receive them that way anymore even though I do specifically ask on occasion. Tonight was just over the top. You might be able to even see the burning in the photo. I know this is a common practice with some restaurants and this happens regularly here, but I overlook it usually. Today just hit a wall for me. Hooters used to do the same thing way back in the day when we used to go there. I was able to watch the cooks from the bar and watched the wings sit there for 45 minutes in the basket then get dipped again in the fryer to warm them up. I did finally say something at the time. This had to be one of those extreme times. If it was my restaurant, nothing would leave the kitchen that I wouldn't eat myself. I would instill pride in my staff. The Zinger things an ongoing issue. Went in for a work lunch with my coworkers on a Wednesday. The restaurant was not busy, and our server Shae was super nice. Service was good and our food was brought out promptly. The quality of the food was a solid 8.9 out of 10. The zingers mac and cheese was amazing. Will definitely return. Kiah was our server and she was great as always , she’s so friendly and knowledgeable. She always gives the best suggestions on new specials and things to order. We’ve been coming in for years and even when she’s not our server she always goes out of her way to check in with us throughout our experience and makes sure everything is great. We really appreciate all the bar tenders(especially Kris, she always goes out of her way and takes great care of us.) She makes us feel like family. Food always comes out quick and tasty. First of all I wanted to talk about how awful my night was at this Millers House in Altamonte Springs. I sat down with my friends, a party of four and we ordered our drinks and food. However, the drink I ordered which was the cucumber jalapeno margarita was disgusting and it did not taste like one at all. It tasted like water and did not have any flavor, so I asked our server Miguel (miggy) to please change it because it’s not good. He was hesitant to tell me that he cant change the drink due to the policy, but he was going to ask the manager for approval. before he left, he stated that the manager was in a bad mood (like thats our problem) we are just customers, and that doesn’t matter. The manager named Eric came asking what happened without a proper greeting, and we said we would like to change the drink and the manager said that cant be comp due to their policy so we have to pay for this drink that I didnt drink and like. we said take it away because we dont want it or like it. the manager took it away with an attitude. The server came back and we asked for to go boxes because we were not comfortable anymore eating at this place after how we were treated and told to pay for something we didn't consume. my friend was very upset about this but the server Miggy was very nice and apologetic about the situation. After that, the manager Eric (white old guy with glasses) came back to tell us whats the issue when he knew about this by mocking my friend for letting him know that we shouldn’t pay for this drink and he still didn’t care. He was incompetent, rude and with a nasty attitude asking my friend if they comp drinks at her job or she can remake a drink without charging the customer for the other drink, and that’s when she said absolutely that is allowed, so he was acting like this is not accepted at all and unwilling to make a new drink or take it off from the bill the previous drink. when people should be allowed to ask for a replacement. then my friend said to take her food away and drink because she won’t eat anything at all, and the manager with an attitude took it away. My friend said thank you Eric and he just stormed away after that with no respect whatsoever. Right after, we asked another manager for corporates number and he gave us a fake number on top of that with the picture as proof in a blue sticky note. This was horrible customer service, and unacceptable. I will never come back here. Please get rid of that unintelligent, lackluster and rude manager Eric (older white man with glasses) who is creating a toxic environment for the employees and customers. My mother and I dined here last weekend. The food was a 5 star and the drinks were a 5 star. We both ordered the mango mojito, it was very delicious. Service could have been faster and more attentive, the atmosphere was nothing less than expected from an Ale house.
