The cooks here prepare good baked beans, coleslaw and grilled chicken. Taste nicely cooked bread pudding, brownies and banana pudding that are served at this bbq. This place is known for delicious beer. Based on the guests' opinions, coffee is great. Mission BBQ with takeout dishes is good for those visitors who like to have dinner in a hurry. The energetic staff at this place can demonstrate how much they value their customers. The fine service is something these restaurateurs care about. Here you will pay fair prices. There is a pleasant atmosphere and nice decor at this spot. This bbq scored 4.7 in the Google rating system.

This is our favorite BBQ restaurant. The food is great and the people working there are always friendly and helpful. We are really enjoying the current black plate special which is grilled shrimp. We are going to miss the shrimp when the special is over. The staff is really good at checking that your order is right whether you are doing takeout or eating in. My first time here and it was a wonderful experience. All of the employees were very friendly and efficient. Kirk took my order and very kindly and patiently walked me through the process. My food was prepared and served promptly. I asked for extra lean brisket and it was moist, tender and delicious. It was nice sampling all of the tasty sauces on the table. The mac n cheese was scrumptious. I tried one of my friend's French fries and that was also outstanding. Fresh and hand cut. No processed, frozen, out of a bag potatoes here. Kirk stepped out from behind the register when he had a free moment to make sure I was enjoying my meal. He even remembered my name! I will definitely stop here again the next time I'm in the area. Mission BBQ has been one of the best fast food style restaurant with a nice place to sit and eat. They really smoke a great burger, turkey, or pork. Highly recommend the mac and cheese. It's always a treat to go here. It's always clean. And they always know how to treat you right. I love going at 12:00 noon and if you've never been here at 12:00 noon I recommend you go... First-time guest and what a visit it was. All of the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Didn't know what to order. However, Emma took the initiative and told me how things worked. She even allowed me to sample 3 items before making a selection. I was impressed with her friendly disposition and demeanor. The food was delicious, and I was blessed with some other goodies while eating. Thank you, Mission Barbecue, for your amazing customer service. This is a bit of a lengthy review because the experience was one of a kind and I believe in due diligence where credit is due. So here goes. My first time at Mission BBQ and must I say what a memorable experience! I was instantly greeted by a cheerful and enthusiastic Belle Henderson. The vibe felt like everyone was family, very close-knit with a strong foundation. I later learned that she works alongside her mother Stacy Henderson who was also incredibly personable. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Belle was exceptional. Friendly, fun, lighthearted, professional and eager to give me recommendations and samples of anything I wanted to try since I made her aware it was my first time. The food came quickly and was better than anticipated due to the wide selection of homemade BBQ sauces and delicious vinegar. The food was A+, the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant was A+, and the customer service was A+. Belle came by to give me a brownie on a plate that said welcome, as well as a free sandwich coupon for when I return, which I most certainly will. That was the icing on the cake. I went to my car and grabbed my wallet to give a tip for this awesome experience (I use Apple Pay and don’t typically carry my wallet). 10/10 will definitely recommend, and will check out the Mission BBQ in my home state of North Cackalacki! We did take out for our jobs holiday party, and we ordered alot of meat! It was amazing and cooked perfect! Staff was amazing as they were clearly busy with many orders, each person that was there to pick up during my time was given a thorough explanation of their orders, packed and brought out to their cars! Date of visit: Tuesday Aug 22, 2023 When we visited Mission BBQ -we were on our roguetrip through Maryland, and we were very hungry. we weren’t loving a lot of the options we were finding, but since we love BBQ, we decided to check this place out. I wont lie – due to the current political climate in the USA – abundance of “patriotism” has started to feel a bit intimidating. I am all for caring for and respecting service members, but the last 6 years of US political climate has left a bad taste in my mouth. This overly patriotic nature and décor of this restaurant – made me apprehensive to go in. That being said – we bit the bullet and went in. And we are glad we did. You place your order off of an ala carte menu, at the cash, and then they put your order together for you. They offer traditional bbq meats – brisket, turkey, pork, pulled meats, sausages, etc. They have many different side dishes and corn bread. You order what you like and they call you when it is ready. It takes next to no time at all to get your meal. The meats are perfectly cooked/smoked – tender and juicy. The sides are all very delicious. We ordered the brisket, turkey, mac & cheese, and beans, coleslaw, and cornbread. When you are at your table – they have numerous BBQ sauces to enjoy with your meal – to find the one(s) you like. The meal was not very expensve at all and very satisfying. AS this was our very first time at Mission BBQ, we did not realize it was a chain restaurant. There are many different locations throughout the Philly Baltimore, DC, area and beyond. This turned out to be an excellent choice for us to have dinner. Great people, amazing food, very casual restaurant, and laid back. We will be on the look out for other Mission BBQ spots on future roguetrips. Tip: Order more food than you think - its so good - get more sides to try more. If you’re a patriot and love BBQ, look no further. Great meats and fantastic side’s accompanied by best service possible and everything is so reasonably priced. You feel the love the second you enter the establishment. I love the daily noon recital of the Star Spangled Banner. Everything great about America under one roof. This is a really great location, staff are friendly, and the service is always extremely fast. I’ve been getting the brisket moist sandwich and green beans. I also get the fries on occasion. My favorite two sauces are the Smoky Mountain and the bay-b-que. they also have another sauce I only so sitting on the table once called the Alabama white. You likely have to ask for it and it is delicious.
