We went to the Natick Mall to walk around and do some shopping and my daughter had seen Mochi Dough 🍩 . From the outside its all glass windows shows in to the bright and flowery atmosphere. The place specializes in doughnuts, pancakes and smoothies. My daughter ordered a smoothie and a cheese pancake. They were very busy at the time we were there so the service was a little off but the food was out in about 5 minutes and was really good. I loved the atmosphere most of all just cute, bright and cheery. If you want to experience something unique go to Mochi Dough!

Having visited Mochi Dough twice, I can firmly say I have no desire to try a third time:
First Visit Concerns:
*Payment Policy*: Discovered it's cash-only for purchases under $10 (so you need to buy 3 or more to use a card).
*Pricing vs Size*: Donuts are priced at $4.50 each but are modest in size.
Second Visit Disappointments:
*Service and Staffing*: Encountered a long line with just one staff member, resulting in a slow service.
*Donut Visibility*: Unlike the first visit, no donuts were on display. The cashier had to disappear to a back room to grab donuts.
*Packaging*: If not buying enough for a box, donuts are given in wax paper, which peeled off the frosting.
*Quality*: The dough was undercooked, feeling doughy and stretchy. I spit it in the trash.
While the shop has a polished, trendy look, the actual experiences — from service to product quality — have consistently failed to deliver.
Fresh, hot, Japanese Donuts. Made on the spot. Have a lot of varieties to choose from. Got 3 Donuts (Taro, Black Sesame and Matcha flavor) for $13. Can't find another place like this anywhere else.
The dough was great, however flavor-wise, they all tasted similar. I expected the flavors to be stronger but they were only coming from the topping, which had a very subtle, almost non-existent flavor.
Great idea though, and cute little place.

I've been trying to get here for awhile and I was finally able to. I was not disappointed. They have a lot of different flavors. We got a box of 6 for almost $25.00, but it was worth it. I tried the fruity pebbles donut first and it literally melted in my mouth. I'll be trying the matcha and caramel later but I'm sure those will be just as good. I will definitely be back

Black sesame, matcha, taro (purple one) these were served hot and were 3 for $13.50 and sooo worth it. Best thing I've ever eaten! I'm sad I don't live closer (1.5hrs away) but also glad cus I'd get these ALL the time. Must try! This place is a keeper

First time was fresh and delicious, second time around the donut was burning hot with the taste of oil that has been used over way too many times the donut taste like burn oil with disgusting after taste. To charge $4.50 for a donut with this quality? No thank you. Not worth the money.

Don’t walk, RUN TO GET A MOCHI DONUT! It’s worth the price trust me you’ll never go back to eating American donuts again!! I even ordered a mochi mix from amazon, that’s how good these donuts are!! Plus they’re made fresh which is amazing compared to another place I went to in Newton. I regretted going to that place bc the donut wasn’t as fresh and warm as the ones at the Natick mall. I’m telling you rn spend the money and get 1 you won’t look at Dunkin the same EVER AGAIN

I was excited to try this new place with my kids. The lady was extremely unfriendly; the donuts tasted hard and not fresh. Looked like it was yesterday’s and they don’t make the donuts fresh there. They didn’t have most of the items on the menu at 3pm. Pretty disappointing. Definitely had better tasting mochi donuts.
