The lady who took our order is new at this location, and she ordered hot coffee for us but we told her iced coffee😂😂😂
And the menu they posted on Google map did not match the menu they have in the store. I went there for the Spanish latte, but they don’t really have one there. Cake is delicious though (also very sweet).

Moka & Co has become my new staple!
After the Blue Owl's tragic relocation in Nov 2023, the downtown EL area was lacking a local, friendly coffee shop for community members to meet and enjoy that serene coffee shop atmosphere. Thankfully, Moka & Co has filled that void!
In the menu, there are some staple coffees that you can get anywhere, but I haven't tried any of those yet because of the main attraction of the menu: authentic Yemeni coffee recipes, rich with premium coffee and spices. I haven't gone through the whole menu, but every coffee and tea I've had so far has been expertly made and delicious.
Like the drinks, their pastries section has a few standard treats (muffins, croissants, etc) but mostly has Yemeni treats! I've only tried a couple of the foods so far, and although the sweet ones were usually too sweet for my taste, the high quality craftsmanship of each food is obvious.
The employees are always kind (even when people botch the menu item names) and very skilled at their work.
The space itself is larger than it looks from the outside, with tons of natural sunlight streaming in! There are beautiful hand painted murals on multiple walls and a variety of spaces to sit and either work/study, chat with friends, or simply enjoy a hot coffee in a peaceful environment.

Coffee tasted average and workers are very rude and too childish when I was placing my order he was laughing and making jokes with Another co worker making me feel like I'm the reason.

This was my first time trying this cafe. The service was good and the atmosphere was great. There’s plenty of seating options and it’s very clean and modernly designed. I got the moka spiced latte iced and honestly I wasn’t at all fond of it. It was too weak and tasted very watered down. I’m used to much stronger coffee and I expected this one to be so as well bc of the cardamom and other authentic ingredients. I’ll definitely try other stuff on the menu during my next visits and adjust this review accordingly. Great concept to have in the Lansing area.

I have been twice to this place and I like it. They serve Arabic and Turkish coffee and tea, and they are good in doing it. I should mention that the coffee is made on an American style with Arabic flavors and spices. They were playing the songs of Fayrouz also and that was great. Highly recommended place to visit.

Love the place, coffee and specially Basbousa. It is addictive.
Must try place on grand river and Free wifi makes it easier to work. will try to taste other items of the menu as well.

People had been talking about the new Yemeni coffee place and I just had to try it. The pastry case was overwhelming in how good everything looked! I settled on a Shai Yemeni tea and the Saffron Milk Cake for my first visit and they both exceeded my expectations. I worked hard to scrape up every tiny crumb of that cake from the plate. And I would be delighted to drink that tea every day for the rest of my life.
The staff were helpful in making recommendations and everything was ready quickly despite it being a quite busy weekend afternoon.
