We had an event with 40 plus people. The acoustics were horrible. Service was mediocre. I ordered the walleye and it was possibly the worst meal I've ever had in a restaurant. Dessert was a joke. I have on two other occasions eaten on the outside deck and enjoyed a lovely hamburger for lunch so I wouldn't rule it out entirely! This is an annual stop when I'm in the area on vacation. I get to connect with friends who gather there every Wednesday for dinner and the meat raffle. Food is good and the service on 10/4 was suburb. I got lucky (REALLY LUCKY) on the meat raffle. Won 4x on $20 in tickets. The raffle supports the Northern Lakes Youth Hockey Association. Loved this place. First time visiting. Came as a family of 4. Fun to watch boats coming and going. Sat outside. Server great. Food good. Bathrooms clean. Drinks yummy. Will return if in area. I have been to Moonlite Bay several times. I sit outside many nights to view the beautiful Whitefish Lakes. Good sandwiches, burgers, & wraps. Had a salad, kettle chips, & blue cheese burger here recently. Inside there is a bar, nice TVs to watch sports, & games for kids, Fridays & Saturdays have live music outside, inside meat raffles, bingo, kids games.

The patio views are amazing. We enjoyed the experience fully from the friendly staff, to the views to the cold beverages. Definitely worth the stop if you're hungry and looking for a good restaurant. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

To start... the onion rings are the best I ever had. The walleye sandwich was OK... the waitress friendly. The problem I had was it took 55 minutes to get our food on a Friday . We took our seats about 5 with the restaurant half full and the slowness started. The other disappointment was one of our kids was served last by 5 minutes... a kid's pizza. Whoops! It was a lesson of patients for my child but hopefully a lesson to them as well as kids should not have to wait like that without an explanation.
