My boyfriend and I came to Muse Paint Bar for their “Paint Your Pet Portrait” night for our Valentines Day date!
We were instructed when signing up online to upload a picture of our pets before coming. The upload process was very easy to do :) When we got to the studio, we were greeted by their very kind and welcoming staff and were brought to our two canvases that had our pets on them!! It was really cute to see our pets printed out pictures and also see what the other customers chose for their pet pictures too. Most people (including me) chose to paint their cat or dog, but there were a few who painted turtles and even sugar gliders which was super cute!
The instructor (I believe her name was Kristin) was amazing, hilarious, and super kind! She provided good vibes and music and when we began to start painting she provided really easy to understand and clear instructions! I was very intimidated at first to paint my cat as I’ve never painted an animal or something very complex before, but with her advice and instructions she was able to break down the process and make it very beginner friendly! The other staff members were also extremely helpful and helped out me and other painters when we were having trouble or needed some guidance. At the end, my boyfriend and I were very happy and proud of our paintings!!
It was definitely a very fun and rewarding experience. I will be back again to paint my second cat soon ~
Muse is a really great concept thats perfect for a fun and engaging activity that you can do with anybody! My boyfriend surprised me here on Valentines for a fun date, we loved it so so much. Kristen, our teacher did so well guiding us through the hour and a half painting. Pearl was a great assistant encouraging and helping us. Try this place out for a sweet and peaceful time.
I would not consider myself artistically gifted in any sort of way, but Muse paintbar was awesome and the instructors were really great! I’ve never painted before but the class leader was patient and gave us ample time to follow along and create our own paintings. They have staff that are very attentive and will nudge you in the right direction and help you if you need it! Located right in Rio the paint at was super easy to park at and get to. We got drinks at the bar and they bring them right to your table! It was a super fun night out! They have hairdryers for fast drying, aprons, and all supplies ready for you when you arrive!

Got two tickets for a gift from parents for a date night priced at $100. Waited a year to use them because we were so excited to try this place. As soon as the class is starting a family with a toddler walks in and I think nothing of it until 10 minutes later the child is crying (which is totally understandable for a kid that age just watching his family paint). The part that is so irritating is after that, the adult family members are taking turns just following the yelling toddler around the room, and climbing on the stage with the instructor multiple times. This yelling, screaming and running around the class with the adults following him around laughing went on for the entire class about 2-3 hours. I tried to still enjoy my “romantic” wine sip and paint night with this going on but I ended up missing a lot of the instructors instructions because I couldn’t hear even though I was already front row. I ended up leaving with a headache from the echoing screaming instead of a great experience. I called the customer service and explained everything to them and how disappointed I was with how disruptions are handled and they said there is nothing they can do. They clearly have no regard to their customers experiences especially for a $100 class. If you pay for a ticket and end up with a loud disruptive person I guess as a customer there’s nothing you can do so that’s not a risk I’m willing to take again for my money and my time to be wasted. Very disappointed. 0/10, would not recommend.
