We told our taxi we’re Indians (West Indians) that never ate authentic Indian food before and he recommended here as a top place to try. Indeed the experience was! The ambience gives a very local restaurant/ bar vibe that reminded me of back in Trinidad. Also, because the waiter didn’t serve us immediately upon arrival we were given complimentary samosas! OMG they were so big and full of so many spices m! Likewise, the sauces were super yummy!! A very pleasant waitress greeted us and helped us pick a menu option that had a short wait time and gave us the authentic meal we wanted. We order chicken tikka masala, dhal takka and basmati rice. I’m familiar with dhal and basmati rice and must say this dhal was divine 🤤 never had chicken tikka masala before but it is definitely on my radar now! Thank you for the very kind and authentic experience! You will always be the first place my family and I ate authentic Indian food! And it was yummy 🫶 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Don’t be fooled by what you see outside (lights from the 70s and somewhat hidden entrance), looks can be deceiving. The food and service was really good, we had the peanut “salad”, gobi Manchurian and Szechuan noodles. We were happy with the quality for the food, quite frankly surprised to find good Indian food on the island! Lots of vegetarian options as well.
