That's a nice idea to order perfectly cooked chicken salads, crab cakes and salmon. Good bread pudding, creamy cakes and cheesecakes are the tastiest dishes. Drink delicious beer or good martinis, it's a must while visiting this bar. Great strawberry lemonade goes well with the nice meal. Nick and Jake's is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. This place offers you affordable prices for tasty meals. The spectacular fireplace and lovely atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.5.

Loved it! They had two separate sections playing different music. They allowed us to switch sides before ordering, and our server was quick to assist. The food was great and definitely will come again. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm updating my previous review, hoping some constructive criticism will help. Our last two visits have been somewhat disappointing. A few weeks back, a friend from out of town ordered the shrimp and grits and it was smothered in the BBQ sauce. It was just too much and he couldn't finish it. Yesterday, my wife and I went in for lunch. She ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered the Thai shrimp. The chicken and waffles came with gravy, which was a surprise. Though that may have been mentioned on the menu, she ordered it based on it being on the chalkboard. She has had it from other places and it was not covered with gravy. Now, on to the gravy: it was very thick and pasty -- just not good. I ordered the Thai shrimp and it was so saturated with the sticky sauce that almost all the crunch was gone. I love shrimp, and this was a 'starter' sized portion, but I just couldn't finish it. By the time I got to the bottom, they were swimming in the sauce. So: less sauce, please! And, offer gravy on the side. Also -- our waitress disappeared and I had to flag down another to get our check. Atmosphere: 2
