Come here for a drink after a long walk around Karlskrona Konserthus. You will like its food, particularly perfectly cooked succulent steaks, entrecote and ribeye. Guests may have tasty crème brûlée and good halva at this bar. It's nice to taste delicious wine, beer or liqueur. Great coffee or good lemonade are waiting for you at Nivå. Booked this place for my anniversary. They sat me in a corner next to the kitchen when they weren’t full. We moved tables lots of room, seemed upset about our asking to move. Food - cold bland and couldn’t figure out how to make a salad - maybe language was a barrier but for the price - unacceptable. The meat was cold, potatoes cold, the price.. Valentine’s Day option would never go back. A gorgeous location with minimal service, expensive choices, and for what?! Did nothing to make my booking exceptional, even after telling them it was an an anniversary. Maybe this is what you expect from fast food - not for for a 2500 kr dinner. Left before dessert - couldn’t handle how bad it was. This year for Valentine’s Day I’ll choose something else. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 700–800 Atmosphere: 1

While the food was good, the prices in relation to portion size are pretty outrageous. The tartare was more salad than tartare, you ahad to search for the meat, the egg didn't bind anything together, somewhat of a mess. We had a good time here. I had ribeye steak which was well grilled. Unfortunately, we all agreed that the meat (oxfile) on one plate ordered by my friend was a bit too little and might weigh less than 180 grams (biggest size) as shown on the menu. He was not full 🥲

We wanted to have a nice steak so chose this place as it seemed a bit more expensive. Which usually means the food is better. We ordered 2 Rib-eye steaks. They looked great when they arrived, but it was near impossible to cut. I have never had a steak so tough. For 33€ without any sides this was a complete rip-off. If you enjoy a good steak, do not come here. On top of that, they did not even accept cash? Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 400–500

A classic steak house which has been around for quite some time. Cosy atmosphere and great staff. I had the premium beef tenderloin with potato gratin and cognac infused veal stock and it was delicious.

Good food! Really nice tender steak, fantastic ganache w salty caramel sauce. They have very nice tables as well as a more simple family area. Book in advance if you want better views, or just sit down at the bar. Not cheap but quality.

Excellent meal and ambiance. Highly recommend getting a steak here. The steak tartare was really good too but the steak was incredible. (300g rib eye here).
