We had a great experience, once we were seated our food and drinks came fast and our server was nice. The only thing i would do is not order the crab cakes. It wasn't bad. Service was super fast, but the food wasn't hot it wasn't cold it was tepid like it was prepped early and waiting to be served if that males sense? Flavors were good. I just wish it would have been hotter. We will likely go back but hope they can figure out how to improve that one issue. This place is awesome, food was so good!!! The waiter was laid back and very helpful and the atmosphere felt like I was on bourbon st at a high class restaurant. The oysters was the best I’ve ever had, from North Carolina,sc, Georgia,fl,Al,Ms I mean all over the place this wins taste hands down, seafood gumbo, shrimp etouffee, jambalaya and for sides loaded fries and boudin eggrolls, all that food and every bit of it was amazing. I will definitely be back for the oysters happy hour throughout the week days. THIS PLACE IS FING AMAZING!!!!!!!!! The food was amazing! Paige was our server and she did a fantastic job. She was very attentive and kind. Very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and even recommended 2 cocktails to me and my wife which were also amazing! Will definitely be back! Paige if you see this, thank you! I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is really nice they have an upstairs patio where you can look out onto the street. I had charbroiledl oysters which were really good but we never got our check! It took them an hour to bring out our order... It was very clear that they did not have adequate staffing and I felt really bad... But even when we walked downstairs to the desk to get our check and to let them know my husband never got his beer, so he had nothing to drink except water, The girl brought over the manager told him we needed our check and to take the beer off the order he walked away and said okay and then came back 5 minutes later we were still standing there and said "oh I thought someone took care of you" and we said, "oh we thought that was you". Again clearly very short staffed, And to be fair it was a parade day but several people there said "oh I forgot today was the parade". If you're a restaurant in Slidell on St Patrick's Day, you should probably remember there's a parade.... And be as prepared as possible for it. Cajun Chicken Pasta and Boudin Eggrolls were Fantastic..Also, tried the gator bites and the fried pickles were just okay. Our server was good, but seemed very stand-offish. Overall still worth 4 stars. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

The food was really good and excellent service. The only complain was that our onion ring from the plater was under cook the waitress went to get it change but they actually refried them (one of them was bite twice by me and me husband) I thought that was kind of not right for them to do.
