Tried this local BBQ place with some friends today. Got the Brisket plate and a rib with sides of Baked beans and mac n cheese. The food was decent, good flavor on the brisket, the baked beans were fantastic and the mac and cheese was a different twist from the usual as it had a heavy parmesan cheese taste, it wasn't bad just wasn't a hit with me. Had two different service issues that did give me a bad taste. 1st when they brought us our plates, my wife's order was identical to mine just different sides. Our friends had brisket as well but only one of them had ribs. My wife's plate was missing the rib and I told the waitstaff but was abruptly told that wasn't what I ordered. No I'm sorry I missed that, rather I was treated like I was trying to get over on her. No reciept was given so I didn't argue it and was with friends and didn't feel like arguing a fact I knew to be true and later confimed by my wife when she said you said, same order, just different sides. Again a simple apology that it was missed rather than going the way it did. 2nd, when asked for the sauce that was supposed to come with the meal as only my plate out of 4 plates did, the waitstaff member only brought back two sides of sauce. So my my wife missed a rib and had to share sauce with me. Only sweet sauce bottle is on table not the tangy one we had asked for. Are margins that tight on a $18.50 plate plus drinks? I don't know, again kinda soured me on the place and won't likely back. Shame I love BBQ but if it doesn't come with good service why bother going. Don't sleep on North Georgia BBQ! This was the best BBQ salad I've had in years! The greens were fresh, great toppings combo, and a huge portion of smoked pork! The BBQ Ranch was a nice compliment. My family loved the brisket plate and the smoked wings. This meal was the best bang for our buck too! I am a huge BBQ fan and this spot does not disappoint. The brisket is spot on and passed the bend test perfectly. It had the appropriate amount of bark and smoke ring and was one of the best I have ever had in my travels of the US. Very casual barbecue place in dahlonega Georgia. The food was great. We ordered the chicken barbecue plate as well as a barbecue pork sandwich and a few cold beverages. Are side dishes were macaroni and cheese and coleslaw as well as hot and crispy french fries. The banana pudding for dessert was fantastic! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Been meaning to go here for a long time. Have passed by this barbecue place no less than 100 times. Today was the day. Met with a smile and great service, happy friendly staff. Ordered the porker barbecue sandwich and pork was really good nice light smoke with a few burnt pieces in the mix but it wasn’t enough meat for the extra two dollars. I expected a 1/4 to 1/2 pound of meat, a little short on that, see PIC. The bbq sauces were amazing, they have many different flavors. We tried all of them and the sauces aline worth going. Also I like the way they lightly toast the buns for the sandwiches just enough providing a little crunchy, nice touch. Coleslaw not so much, little over salted and sweet. It was a very weird taste in coleslaw. My friend had the brisket plate loved it, said it was really good but the mac & cheese was the best thing on the plate. Cute environment. Lots places to sit inside and outside. They serve beer as well. Also plenty of parking, that’s special for downtown Dahlonega, that’s a hard thing to fine. Would I go again, yeah probably.

Clean, good people, great food. The sweet tea was brewed perfectly! The wings I bought were some of the best I've ever eaten! So full of flavor and juice, very fresh and meaty chicken. The fries were seasoned with more than simple salt and pepper, which thrilled me! I winced at the $15 price tag, but boy, was it worth it! I'll be back here again soon.
