This is quite the find. A fantastic restaurant with great flavors. Started with the Cajun fries and maybe the best cheese fries I have ever had. We added a little extra spice from the shaker on the table. Ordered the special. A filet of trout on top of cornbread crawfish with a shrimp sauce on top with coleslaw. AMAZING. We also had a crab cake appetizer as a second entree and so much food we have a dinner tomorrow. Another put it on your list. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you're not a spicy eater, heed caution. The soft shell crabs and fried oysters were spicy for my other half. Loved all the food and dessert too! It was busy, but the waitress did not make us feel that way, she was attentive and everything was right! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fried Shrimp Po Boys was delicious with Cajun Jambalaya pasta and Oyster Rockefeller ok. Food comes out super quick, bathroom was clean, and adequate seatings. Host was a bit stiff and we had better food elsewhere though this place is not a bad stop for some local food. The portions are huge. The cajun fries with alligator bites were our favorite. The bbq shrimp pictured is the appetizer version but they do have an entree option which I suppose is bigger. The bbq shrimp was the only thing that felt over priced in comparison with everything else. The hurricane was good. If you’re visiting during the weekend, I would recommend you make a reservation online just in case. We walked by the restaurant a couple of times and there was a pretty long line of people waiting outside. Also, they have an additional charge if paying with card instead of cash (about $3).
