Both South Austin Popular Culture Center and Odd Duck are recommended for visiting. Nicely cooked duck eggs, fried fish and fried oysters are the tastiest dishes. Do not go away without tasting good Brezeln, chocolate ice cream and French toasts. This place is known for delicious draft beer, wine or bourbon. Great fresh juices, French coffee or lemonade are the most popular drinks of this bar. Food delivery is a big advantage of Odd Duck. The cool staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The spectacular service is a big plus of this place. You will like attractive prices. The beautiful decor and calm atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. Google users who visited this spot state that the most suitable mark is 4.7.

We were lucky enough to snag a reservation here and put their "farm fresh" food to the test. We ordered an array of dishes consisting of The wagyu strip, goat pasta, grilled broccoli, wagyu burger and the chicken heart skewers. The skewers had a great smoky flavor to them, and it was a nice way to have gotten introduced to chicken hearts as a first timer. However, I wasn't huge on the texture of the meat. But if you are familiar with this type of meat, then I have no doubt you'll love it! The grilled broccoli was recommended by our valet, and it didn't disappoint. Another smoky flavor and had a acidic kick as well. Vegetables done right! The pappardelle goat pasta was very delicious. Some nitpicks would be the addition of olives, they did have a minor presence, but I would personally leave them out. I would have also preferred more goat. The pasta was al dente and the overall dish was a thumbs up. The wagyu burger had quite the library of components to it but they all complimented each other. It is also very messy, so I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant, instead of to-go. Lastly, we had the wagyu strip. I am not sure what grade the wagyu steak was, as there is no indication on the menu. Though I believe most steak enthusiasts would be able to assume that this is not Japanese, nor A3,A4 or A5 grade. Possibly not even A2. The steak was still a tasty medium rare and the potato fritters that accompanied were possibly more impressive than the steak. Crispy on the outside and silky smooth on the interior. Everything laid on a bed of their gravy. Overall great dish. We are happy to have finally dined here as it has been on the radar for quite some time. Good ole whole food made with their own twist, with love. 4.5/5 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Dry-Aged Wagyu Burger

If it’s ever your first time in Austin, or even a seasoned local, I recommend you to try odd duck. The friendly staff is what first caught my eye as soon as I walked in the door, and it was the staff’s attentiveness that blew me away. Glasses were always full with water and dishes were meticulously explained. The drinks were fantastic (bourbon eggnog). The chicken heart skewers were a bit too salty for my liking but the texture was good. The ceviche was nice and fresh and the quail was amazing. The cornbread was honestly the highlight of the meal with the wagyu coming close behind. Overall I’d highly recommend this restaurant and I’d go back in a heartbeat if I were in Austin again. Modern farm to table with an emphasis on local food cooked over fire. The chicken hearts were exceptional yakitori. Super rich and moist cornbread that is almost a pudding. Fun cocktails. A great casual special occasion restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
