Ok, so I want to start this by saying, the Service was fantastic!, Abbey was a GREAT Server/Waitress/Food Ordering and Delivery Professional (whatever man 🤷‍♂️), and I gotta say, that the food items we had were "hit & miss", the 1's that were good, were REALLY good! I don't recommend the standard Ramen (pictured below, or wherever Google puts it) or whatever chicken thing my daughter added to her Bento Box. Also, their prices did seem a little higher than other Japanese Sushi and/or Ramen places we have visited (I have a review of another Mall based Japanese Restaurant on here if you can find it). Great place, lovely atmosphere. I went with my partner and we had a nice time. The prices are a lot but it's good food. The sushi was good but not mind blowing. I did get an incorrect item but it was loud and understandable if the waitress didn't hear me correctly. The wine and sake are good, not too expensive. 01.23.2024 This place was really good. I happen to come on a day where sushi was 50% off. There was a line when I arrived around 1645; the place opens at 1700. My waitress was friendly and on point, taking everyone’s order correctly, even remembered my water without ice! The sushi was fresh and delicious! I highly recommend! The food exceeded our expectations here. I would be a regular if I lived in the area. The sushi was really good, and to my surprise they have okonomiyaki which tastes just like the home made. Hot sake delicious! Service was good. I wish I could be back. They have a deal on Tuesdays, so if you come back then, it’s even cheaper. A pleasant surprise! Very good sushi, something I do not say lightly. I recommend the sunset roll! Very tasty. The hot sake was flavourful. Enjoyed the gyoza and okonomiyaki. I unfortunately haven’t eaten here in years, but this is where my son always requests we get sushi for his birthday dinner (the rest of us get Chinese food since sushi for 6 is out of the budget). This time around he got the Mars, Vegas, Black Tiger, and California rolls. He loved the first three, but didn’t care for the California at all. I think he’s more of a fried/baked roll fan. We placed an online order around 4:50 and it said it wouldn’t be ready until 5:45 to 5:50. When I tracked the order about 20 minutes later, it said 5:55. We were out running errands at 5:30 and decided to stop by just to check, and to our surprise, the sushi was ready and just sitting on the counter. The receipt showed the pick up time was supposed to be at 5:40. I really wish we had received an email or a call saying our order was ready early. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The food tasted amazing and came out quickly. The service was excellent and our waitress, Nia, was so kind and quick with how busy the restaurant was. Lastly the atmosphere was cozy and fun! Amazing venue, great location, and excellent service, but the star here is the fresh amazing sushi. Each sushi roll is a generous portion, packed with flavour, and fun to eat. 4.2 Stars, Tasty fresh sushi rolls, flavor was good, little to much rice for my liking but still tasty. Nigiri was great, desserts were very tasty, everything look wonderful, excellent service.
