In short: Excellent place if you'd like to pick from a pretty unique menu, and a bit more special than the average Eindhoven restaurant - without immediately shelling out for fine dining. Would 100% recommend for that! Original and well-prepared food, excellent service
Longer version:
I've had two experiences dining at OST so far. A company lunch with about 20 people and a diner with 4. Both instances surpassed expectations.
For the business lunch, we were on a budget, but wanted to be a bit more creative than the normal tapas. OST definitely delivered, and everyone had a very nice time - with some last-minute accommodations to boot.
For a more private setting, I would say OST really manages to fill the gap between 'getting a quick bite' and fine dining. The menu is creative, food prepared well (and also very nicely presented!), and not unimportantly, they managed to serve it at very reasonable prices. If you want to eat out and be a bit more special than your average pub menu, or one of the gazillion quick asian places, look no further than OST (even the olives had a signature twist/dressing on it). You can have a very nice three course meal with original choices that you will not see on other menus. Also plenty of veggie choices. There's plenty of drinks to match your taste - not a huge wine list, but what they have (and what we managed to drink ;)) was definitely well chosen (and I actually appreciate not having to choose from hundreds of wines). Besides that you can choose from some whiskies, plenty of beer choices and also original non-alcoholic offerings (infused drinks!).
Additionally, service was excellent. You can tell they want you to feel welcome, and if you have any comments or remarks, that you feel free to ask them. Hospitality is definitely one of their strong suits.
Definitely try this place out if you're looking to dine in Eindhoven.

On our trip to The Netherlands, we just happened upon this place. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but we just loved it! As the Dutch would say…it has a really “gezellig” vibe. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We highly recommend you give this place a try.

Wow what a gem! Located in a intresting art/creative zone, with a fun retro interior.Everything we tasted was truly amazing (and we are generally disappointed by the dutch restaurant industry, so we don't say it lightly). And the price to quality is also a pleasant suprise! Highly recommended!

Honestly the best food for price/quality in Eindhoven. Great wine, beer, and atmosphere. Friendly service! Always a new menu even better than the last one.

Heerlijke gerechten, altijd met veel liefde bereid, fijne bediening en eigenaars. De wijnen zijn top, de Verdejo is mijn favoriet! Zeker een aanrader. Kom hier heel graag.
