This place is a Hidden Gem in Cannon beach. Stumbled across it by accident and had amazing bands two nights in a row. The owner is extremely friendly and over the top appreciative for everyone that comes in. He will make you feel right at home from the minute you sit down. They run kind of a skeleton crew so during peak times it might take a little while to get your drinks, but it's a cool atmosphere and the people in there the two nights I was there were very friendly and welcoming Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a very late post as my wife and I enjoyed OBB back in July during our family vacation to Cannon Beach. John is as good as it gets when it comes to warm, friendly and hospitable human beings. Plus, his cocktails are INCREDIBLE. I enjoyed the Black Manhattan with a bowl of his seafood chowder, along with John’s great conversation. All of which I highly recommend 😊. I can’t wait to visit OBB again during our upcoming visit next July!!

The drinks were great. The owner was great. Just didn't really like the surprise cover charge on the bill at the end of our meal. We were just finishing up dinner and drinks when a musician came in and started playing. Waiting for the bill, she starts playing. I guess that's enough time to add a cover charge? We adored our visit to OBB - from the moment we stepped foot inside, John was there to welcome us with (literal) open arms! We sat by the beautiful stone hearth, which he lit just for us. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the hospitality was top notch! We loved being able to find an unassuming place filled with character and open later than 8 pm - highly recommend the Sasquatch Cake!! Thanks John!!
