We’ve been to this Outback many times and always had a great meal and service. Amber was our server tonight and went above and beyond. Yesterday was a pretty bad day for me. But it was still my 82 yo Momma’s birthday and she wanted to go to Outback in Leesburg. So at 6:30 I set out not expecting much. Our server Connie was a Godsend. She had the best spirit, knowledge of the menu and attention to detail! The steaks were cooked to perfection ! I ordered Cheesecake for my Mom and the entire staff came out to sing for us! When you get to this age most of your friends and family are gone. So it was extremely touching to see all the young people doing their part to make her day! Everyone there is so friendly and positive. Shortly after the table next to us celebrated their birthday and they did it again! We ended up making friends with our neighbors and the bad day became a great day! Thank you Outback. I hope you all have a great year ahead. And if you go ask to sit in Connie’s section. Her positivity is infectious. Get the Blooming Fried chicken too! It will rock your world! What happened to this place? It used to be a really decent place to come with friends and family. First time back in years, and will likely be the last. The service was below standard, as to be expected when you don't pay a living wage (you get what you pay for). If you like your food salty, Outback steakhouse is for you! The calories are indicated on the menu, which is helpful; however the sodium content is not. Here, your weekly quota of sodium will met, 100%. Even the "blooming onion", the perennial staple, is inedible. It was so salty and crisp (and greasy), that after a couple of tries, we just sent it back. The waitress looked at us surprised, but it really needed to be thrown in the garbage. Overall, I think we've become complacent to poor service and terrible food for so long, restaurants just stopped putting the effort into doing better. As for us, we've decided not to give our hard earned money away. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
