Dry. All I can say is so dry you need to drench it in sauce, I can see why they give you the whole bottle. Sweet tea ain’t good and neither are the sides. All bland and boring. Even the elderly agreed. Not to mention expensive. Never in my life have I had brisket so chewy. Although the staff is nice and place is pretty. Not their fault.

The food was a traditional bbq. I don’t think a lot of people who travel the country understand the difference in local and country bbq. I can tell by there reviews. This location was of course, clean and friendly. The atmosphere is traditional East Texas. The food is great. I definitely recommend you stop on and say hi to the staff and ask them all you can about this classic privately owned restaurant. They have been doing there recipes for there smoked meet since 1996. Wish we would have took time to drive from a Pittsburg Tx to Dangerfield tonight to eat here. We stopped in at Racks kept hearing great reviews on them.Never will go back there THIER ribs looks like someone had already eaten them and put them back in the container and them and the brisket was cold greasy no flavor. Just not a good experience at all. I guess the dogs will get them some good scraps if they will eat it. Maybe the people who really like them 1. Never had eaten at Outlaws in DANGERFIELD 2. Just can't taste are 3rd Drunk and don't care.because they have a bar and karaoke and axe throwing so maybe they just go for that??? I don't know but y'all will always have our business even though we have to drive that far. It will be well worth it Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
