My friend introduced me this authentic Sichuan cuisine new restaurant and I was convinced upon my first visit! Three of us ordered kungpao chicken, griddle hot mix with fish, stir-fried string beans, and spicy beef salad. All of them were delicious! The chef chatted with us and he was from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan! He even graciously offered us free Dan Dan Noodle for a taste check, and it was surprisingly well done! Absolutely it’s a fantastic new restaurant I want to revisit for other dishes and recipes. Some of the best, most authentic Szechuan food you’ll have in New England. It’s incredibly spicy and flavorful. A bonus is that the owner is really friendly and a good man. Can’t wait to be back here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
First time trying this new place in Lowell. We were the only table at the time but quite a few take outs while we were there. Tried DanDan noodle, Mapo tofu, and fried fish filet with chili.. all are amazing. The people there are very friendly and make us feel at home. We like it so much we went back for take out the next day! Larry is the best! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I really enjoyed my time here at this restaurant. The atmosphere felt calm and homey. The workers there were extremely nice and made me feel comfortable dining in alone. Service was excellent. I got the spicy beef hand pulled noodles and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was just amazing, it was not overwhelmingly spicy. You could ask for light spice or extra but it was perfect for me. The proportion was huge, i got full so fast and asked to pack the rest to go. I will definitely come back and I look forward to trying new dishes. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Beef Noodle Soup Spicy

Might be the best Chinese beef noodle soup (牛肉面) in Mass atm. Sad that Shangri-la closed down but Oxyear's noodles are legit legit. My 70 year old pops from Sichuan/Hunan approves. Haven't had too many other dishes but if you're visiting for the first time you HAVE to get the beef noodle soup. Spicy dry fish filet (香辣鱼片?no idea, can't find a menu written in Chinese) is also pretty good. These guys just opened up recently but my guess is once word gets out it'll be a lot more packed for sure Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Minced Pork Noodle Soup
My wife and I stopped in on a whim and were absolutely floored. Very unassuming little joint with top notch food and service. Good mix of modern favorites and traditional essentials. Spicy beef noodle soup with handmade noodles is a must try. Generous portions. Can't say enough good about it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food is delicious. Beef noodle soup features quality noodles and has a delightful kick. Sesame chicken balances sweet sauce with crispy chicken.

Oxyear has only been opened for a year. The owner offered an off-menu item- sautéed pea shoots just picked up in Boston. Never had it before, but it was delicious! The sesame bamboo shoots salad - incredible! Cumin tofu- savory. “Food Court” in the restaurant name initially threw us off prior to the drive from North Andover. Oxyear is a very casual neighborhood restaurant with simple, practical seating. The owner is extremely very proud of his cooking and it came through all of our dishes! Definitely worth the drive to Lowell versus Chinese restaurants near us. A group sitting next to us were frequent patrons and raving about their noodle soups and Oxyear’s authentic food offerings. We will be back! Please support this new restaurant! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food is amazing, fresh and full of flavor!!! Menu is all daily specials which I actually LOVE. The new environment in a classic location is just what this area needed!!! Owner is friendly and attentive, can’t wait to go back again.
