Here's a breakdown of our experience: Dishes: Chicken Dum Biryani: Unfortunately, the biryani lacked flavor. The chicken pieces themselves were bland, and the dish surprisingly omitted the usual fried onions on top, which add a nice textural contrast and depth of flavor. The rice itself was a bit too thick for Basmati rice. Malabar Fish Fry: The fish fry was average. However, the portion size was underwhelming for the price of $14.99. My family and I are very glad we decided to try this restaurant! Our waitress was incredibly helpful and friendly. My parents aren't very familiar with Indian cuisine, so she patiently and kindly walked them through all the questions they had to help them identify the right dish for them. Once the food came, we were not disappointed. We ordered everything with a medium-heat level spice and it was delicious! It's definitely my new favorite Indian restaurant in the south valley area. The food was really good, everything was made according to specified spice level.Viyayawada briyani and Gobi Manchuria were really yummy. Service was very good as well and they were attentive. Accompanied by three fluffy orders of Naan, a sweet Mango Lassi, and a couple of other refreshing beverages, the meal was both satisfying and flavorful. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and quantity of the food make it a worthwhile treat. The customer service added a special touch to the experience, with the thoughtful gesture of a balloon and a rose during Valentine's week making it all the more memorable. Plus, their late hours are a perfect match for my night owl tendencies.
