It's a bit old-fashioned but a nice place to go. Convenient, and if you are looking for a wonderful breakfast, you found the right place. I can't say that much about the evening meals as I only go there for breakfast. It's very easy on the wallet. Recommended

I gotta say, the Parkway Diner has stepped up their game on the breakfast front. Lots of flavor, good sized portions, and all for a good price. This is now my go-to spot for breakfast, they know what they're doing now.

I ordered the chicken cordon blu. The size of the thing was small. The prices are outrageous 14.99 for a little thing. You get 2 in a grocery store for 8.99. Mashed potatoes that are instant, very disappointing. This place goes down hill. Then the owner comes out of the kitchen at 6:45pm saying no more tables. If he does not want to be open much longer keep giving tiny portions charging high prices. 18.80 with drink and tax for this, sad how people prey on others when times are bad.
As to your remark on Panera Bread, I am a district manager for them. If customers have any issue and bring it to a manager attention at the time they are given a full refund, and the food is remade. If after the fact, we do offer a remake as our way to say we are sorry.

Stopped here on my way home, I would definitely recommend eating here! The staff are super friendly and easy to converse with! Always on top of drinks and orders. Within less than 15 minutes from ordering, we had our food, it was fresh and hot and a large portion for the price. Whenever I am up this way I know where I’ll be stopping to eat. 😉
So this is probably the third or fourth time I have ordered here and the first couple of times were great. This time however, I’m not sure if it’s because the county is green or whatnot, wasn’t even good. I ordered three meals and two came wrong. They explained that on one of them they ran out of turkey bacon and I understood that completely. But I ordered regular bacon for my meal and I got regular sausage. No problem, but I can’t stand sausage so I called and asked them to remake it. The lady I was talking to was very nice until she quickly became agitated by a cook who came out to berate her because I had a complaint. I get frustrated quickly so I asked my fiancé to explain it for me, they understood and he went to pick up my food. Once he got there a cook immediately came out and asked “are you just trying to get free bacon? Cause I can just cook you bacon.” My fiancé replied that he doesn’t need to cheat people out of $2 worth of bacon and that the order was just wrong and we would like it fixed. In hopes of it being all good he brought it back even after questioning the people there ( who were all very nice besides the cook) that it was in fact bacon, I took one look at it and realized that all they did was take a piece of ham, cut it into strips and fried it. I wouldn’t be posting this but again my order was wrong and I can’t handle dealing with them again. Sorry, food was good but not worth it.
This place exceeded my expectations. The service was superb and the food was even better. The portion sizes are extremely good and they are reasonably priced too. My girlfriend got their pancakes and they were some of the biggest pancakes I have ever seen. Fantastic diner, and since I am a student down the road at LCCC, this makes for an excellent stop. I will definitely be back.
