First trip to Parkway House in a while, good to see things were chugging along busy as ever. Excellent waitress, pleasant and attentive. Food was the same good quality. Everything was clean or being cleaned. So if you're an original Springs Road native like me or just don't want to change out of your work clothes and desire to go somewhere unassuming, good food at a good price is waiting for you at Parkway House. Great food and a nice hometown place. If you like chicken livers, they got you. Not for me. Fired pork chops are SO good! Not too salty. Fried squash and okra (certain days) They have dessert, but I’m always too full to try it. The food came out cold. We asked our waitress to fix the situation and we were told that there was nothing they could do. So, we ordered a milkshake and called it a day. It was completely empty on the inside of the restaurant, so no excuses. Don't know if we'll try this place again. Me and my husband went to Parkway House yesterday and we were blown away at how wonderful this place is . The food is amazing, the staff all are so friendly and make you feel right at home .
