Server did not respond when asked a question about the combo meal. The chicken tasted old like it was reheated from the previous day. Firecracker Shrimp was overcooked and way too done. I ran in and picked up a plate to -go, with an egg roll around 4pm. When I got to the car, I ate the egg roll, which was good. However, the smell from my plate was atrocious. The broccoli was apparently bad. Just plain nasty. I took one bite of the rice and closed it up. I Took it back in and got my money back but paid for egg roll. Not a good experience. The young lady was kind and said it had been sitting out for a while. It was no where near the quality that Mandarin Express always provided. I Won’t be back. I don’t recommend Pei Wei. The food is good but the girl that works behind the counter is rude and unprofessional as hell. She’s always rude and needs to be fired. I was standing at the register waiting to pay for my food when she left the counter, didn’t say a word. The other worker had to check me out. They need a lesson on customer service.
