Kansas 01-2024 Tony and I stopped in Wellington Kansas on our way to see Laura Ingalls Wilder's home and we stopped at Penny's Diner for lunch. Qe both had tea to drink no beer poor Tony. I ordered a Regular Cheeseburger with fries and he ordered a Chili Cheeseburger with Fries. His was very interesting that was for sure!! He liked it very much My burger was good but I put too much mustard on it.i would eat here again if in the area. Staff was very nice Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had drove past here on the way to Colorado and decided to stop in on the way back because I loved the style of the restaurant. Food was good and I loved the milkshakes, service was a bit slow but that is due to them being short staffed. They only had 3 people working and the one who ran register would appear for one moment then disappear leaving the other 2 people struggling to keep up with orders and checking out customers. Not sure if that person went on break or what the deal was. But the staff we did interact with were pleasant. Another thing I didn't like was the menu they give you doesn't have pricing, but if you scan for the menu it pulls up prices.
