A special Italian-like restaurant at the big bear village. It's amazing to find a decent dining place at the mountain and lake area. The spaghetti and lasagna we ordered is great, even could be described as the traditional as some perfect Italian restaurant. I would say it is recommended for reservation but the parking lot is too small, which is truly lacking in the parking spot. Another thing to mention, we had to wait for a long time for the food as we told the staff we were somehow in a hurry. :(. Outstanding service from the time we walked in to the time we finished our meals. We came with our dog and they were extremely welcoming--they sat us on the patio and turned on all the heat lamps so we would be warm. They also brought our dog a water bowl. The food was excellent--you must start with a bowl of their signature New England clam chowder--it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Italian meatball sandwich and French dip--the French dip was the best! Definitely add mushrooms and grilled onions--and also get the peppercorn ranch for your fries! This is one of the best restaurants in Big Bear without a doubt. Highly recommend! Came here just for desserts and it was great. I had the chocolate cake a la mode and i recommend it this way. The cake was way too decadent by itself. The server messed up and brought it without the ice cream but it wasn't a big deal. We sat outside which was great on a nice sunny day.
