This is a great local place to go for a drink food. I had some great food and drinks. Big selection. Christina was a great bartender. Love the atmosphere. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A great place to stop by for food if you're driving on I-80. The place is popular and the food is great. I ordered a Reuben sandwich, and it was really delicious. Also the service was great and the gentleman who took and brought my order was very nice. Highly recommended Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sandwich

They have the best breakfast in town, also very affordable. The prices are prices you would have seen five years ago. The portions are big and fresh. The are very child friendly as well. Food was great! There were 2 waitress only one doing any work. Hopefully 2nd waitress was just a friend of someone as she was mostly useless. We were hoping for a quick bite to eat but ended up being almost 2 hours. The one redeeming quality was I loved the food, if I wasn't on a cross country road trip I wouldn't have minded the service. I got a bacon cheeseburger and my wife got a chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes with a white cream gravy. I'm hoping the service was a one off. The closed restaurant that referred us to the Peppermill was closed due to employees not showing up, it also happened at another diner in Wyoming, maybe it's a Wyoming thing? If someone thinks this was a one time occurrence let me know and I'll revise my review. I did give it 4 stars because of the food so hopefully others will try it and either confirm or disprove my version on the service. I've never reviewed a restaurant but felt compelled after dining here. I ordered the largest prime rib with seasoned veggies and to start the dish was room temperature at best, and the seasoned veggies most definitely had no seasoning whatsoever. I assume they were boiled and dropped on my plate. The potatoe was the only thing worth eating and was mediocre at best, please don't go here and expect to get a delicious cut of meat. You will most definitely be robbed of your cash, this was a 30 dollar meal and I would have traded it for a hamburger meal from McDonald's. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We stopped at Rawlins looking for a place to have a coffee. We couldn't find anything open (too early). We asked a very nice couple, owners of an Art Gallery (really good local art). They gave us the name and directions to get to the Peppermill :-). I loved it. Very good service, friendly and quick. Great food (we had breakfast). Thanks !!! My husband and I stopped in for dinner on Saturday evening around 8:00PM during our cross country road trip. The food was good and prices were very affordable. There was only one waitress attending all tables when we dined in. The waitress was friendly and the wait time wasn't too long for our food. We had grilled salmon and pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes and a green salad. The portion sizes were not too huge which we appreciated. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great spot for some BBQ! I tried the sample platter with southwest sauce and loved it. I got macaroni and cheese and coleslaw as my sides and a brownie for dessert. Check out the pictures! It was as yummy as it looks! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped by in the middle of the afternoon and we were the only ones there. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the food. Her chicken sandwich was amazing and my Ruben was very good. Service was good. Only bad thing was things could be cleaner, especially the carpet floor.

Just leaving the restaurant.. it's apparently called Cactus Jack's in the restaurant half of the building but the signs are faded. Absolutely worth every penny. So delicious great staff awesome food. I had a made to order hamburger he had a Philly Cheese steak the brisket sandwich looked awesome too.
