I had my birthday dinner here a few weeks ago and everything was amazing! Our server, Alejandra, was so nice and very attentive even with our big party. The food was incredible, we had a variety of appetizers since we had a lot of people. The fried seafood and mix ceviche were my favorites. Everyone loved their entrees as well. The restaurant is also really cozy with beautiful art work on the walls. They even gave me a free dessert to celebrate my day 😊 overall, 10/10 experience and will definitely be coming back! We celebrated my mom’s birthday here today and it was my family’s first time dining at Peru Criollo. Our server was Alejandra and she was wonderful. She was kind, warm, and made the best recommendations for us to share. We had the Jalea de Mariscos, ribeye churrasco encebollado, pescado a la macho, and papa a la huancaina. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. We capped the night and shared the flan. We will definitely be back! I couldn't have enjoyed my meal more. A great romantic atmosphere for a date and the food was extraordinarily delicious. The "Jalea de Mariscos" appetizer dish (battered shrimp, fish, and calamari) was superb and unlike anything I've tasted before. Our server Alejandra was amazing. Very friendly and took the time to explain the menu and all the best recommendations. She explained it to my date in Spanish and to me in English ☺️. She was the best. Background: I’m from Peru and I’ve eaten at Peruvian restaurants all over the world and in Miami where they have excellent Peruvian food. Unlike Tanta, this place is not gourmet per se but has more classical dishes with good portions and the BYOB is great to save on drinks. Food was excellent and definitely recommend it. An amazing experience! Since you walk inside you are greeted with happy friendly faces. The restaurant is beautiful and have murals of beautiful paintings done by the actual owner (Mrs).
