The door was locked when I got there about 20 min after posted opening time. The staff were having very loud and open conversations about the dishwasher not working and needing to run and rerun glasses for a 4th time?!?! Food presentation was dark and charred (eggs) but tasted good. Cushions patched with duct tape. Attempted to pay, they forgot about me and then left the credit card device just sitting at the table. The cook quit and they’re hiring a new one. This is a super fun and casual, low-key kinda place. The service was a little slow, but the food was great! They have a wide range of items on their menu, all of which are fairly inexpensive. After sampling multiple personal pizzas (I totally recommend the 5-star) we had a Sundae which was very large and delicious. They have a ton of super cool sundae flavor combos and I would love to try more of them. They also offer a “kitchen sink” sundae which is an enormous sundae made for sharing with a big group. Went here before an event after trying a couple of other places with long waits. So glad we found this place! No wait, friendly staff, and in spite of being almost full, the food came up fast, hot, and extremely delicious. Orders were placed at the counter, but they brought the food to the table- on real plates with real silverware- as soon as it was ready. The brick oven pizza was great, the cheesesteaks were good size and extremely delicious (would order again!) and the fries and onion rings were cooked perfectly. Prices were very reasonable and a great value for the money. Wish I had time for dessert as the menu was extensive. In spite of being slammed, and only having a staff of three, they did an incredible job and were still courteous and friendly. Don't go on Mother's Day at 11:30. We drove all the way from Philadelphia with my mom, who is from Hershey, to be turned away. Let us stand at the door for a few minutes before we were told that they were done serving breakfast and lunch wouldn't start until 12:15. On Mother's Day!! Never again. Too many options in Hershey to waste my time ever again. So sad that the owner, yes the owner responded to my comment calling me "Karen" and a bad daughter for not spending a fortune on my mother for Mother's Day. For all I know, this might be the last Mother's Day that I spend with my mother. She wanted to go to Hershey. She wanted pizza because she doesn't get pizza very often. According to this establishment (I'm being kind), I'm a bad daughter for treating my mom to the day she requested. Not everyone has champagne and table cloth taste. They didn't like my review so they blocked me on Facebook (hard to block all of my friends too) and had a nasty response in Google Reviews. Some people just enjoy spending time with their families doing things they enjoy. So let it be said that the bad daughter (aka Karen) treated her mom to Chocolate World and pizza on Mother's day. I also treated her to flowers from Long's Nursery and planted them for her. How awful! I don't know how I will recover from a restaurant (if you want to call it that) who gave me a one star for being a bad daughter. My mother raised me right. I value time, not money. Not superficial things. We had a wonderful lunch at another place and no, I didn't have reservations. Update: my mother passed away on December 30, so last Mother's Day was the last Mother's Day I had with my mom. I'm sorry I couldn't give her a day of the things she wanted. I really like the owners responses to people's reviews lol. Their breakfast is delicious as well as the 5 star pizza and paninis. Whenever I order on doordash the food is always hot and ready and the presentation is so nice! The salmon for breakfast is exceptional! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
