It's the day before Valentine's Day and I decided to take my boyfriend out to dinner when I knew it wouldn't be a headache. I saw this place and it had pretty good reviews and it was Jazz night. Oh yeah... right up my alley dinner and good music go well together and they didn't disappoint!! The band was great love them. I started with a drink Rum Punch it was so good 💪🏾and my boyfriend had a Heineken. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms with crab meat for starters and it was delicious. For dinner, I ⁶ordered the Oxtail and pasta, and talk about tender and juicy with the gravy... perfect! They give you these small little forks to get all the meat off the bones. My boyfriend ordered the Lambchop and Asparagus and he said they were good. Not too pricey my drink was 17 dollars the beer was around 7 I think. The waiters were on point. Great service. The experience was so much fun I want to go back on a Wednesday for R&B night. Oh if you like to eat outside they have a patio area as well with heating lamps. This is my first time visiting Pips on La Brea and it exceeded my expectations. I ordered grilled salmon and grilled zucchini from the starters menu and there was enough food to serve two people. You get great value for your money, and that's not even including the live jazz from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m, Tuesday through Saturday night. I came on a Thursday night after real estate event just to check it out and I'm very glad that I came. I can't wait to bring my son here so he can enjoy the Jazz and the salmon. Excellent event that couldn’t have happened in a better place. The feeling was electric. Band members who played behind major stars. Who themselves are stars .
