I usually love their food, but last night's pick-up way below the usual. My mixed chicken and beef Swarma platter tasted like over seasoned salmon. My husband said his food just wasn't good. Although we were famished, we just could not stomach these plates. I saved my salad for today's lunch after all its hard to mess up a Greek Salad "right". Well I noticed there were no gabonzo beans, the tomatoes were mushy, and the bottom was loaded down with rice of all things. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed with them. This is a good spot to get a gyro. The fries are also very flavorful and delicious. The big Greek gyro plate was enough to share. It had a very generous portion of meat and tomatoes and a couple other veggies on pita bread with a white sauce. Everything was just perfect. Not too much and not too little, which can often be the issue on gyros in my experience! The employees were all helpful and friendly and even the manager was front and center, making sure we had everything we needed. Picked up an order here for my family and couldn’t figure out how to say “no tomatoes” online for the pita. When I got there I asked if they had made them yet and they had just finished making them and I said it was no problem, but Matt was so kind and made us 2 more with no tomatoes!
