If there is one pizza in this world that is simply sublime and checks boxes you didn’t know even existed, it’s pizza by Alex. I am a pizza snob and moved south and I tried the local pizza and couldn’t even gag down a piece. Alex’s pizza is downright orgazmic. Usually I’m a pepperoni pizza guy, but their pizza is SO good that only there do I simply get an extra cheese pizza. It’s simply perfect. When I go home I buy like ten and freeze them to bring back to the pizza wasteland I live in.

Unfortunately, I can't give more than 3 stars. Family run. Something like 68 years in business. 3rd generation. Nice, campy 70s dining room vibe But... the food quality is on par with convenience store efforts I think this place could rock if they up'd their game. The ground beef and fetta cheese pizza was delicious. I hope to try it cooked in the old ovens next time! Lots of pretty plants in the lobby to admire while waiting. We absolutely love Pizza by Alex. We don’t get it often, but anytime we are in the area, we stop (whether it replaces our dinner plans or not). Best original pizza from a longstanding shop. Order 4 different pizzas, and every one of them was amazing! It's my first time eating here, but 100% will be going back many times. They were great. Some of the meat ended up under cooked and they took it back to fix the problem and we really appreciated that they decided to make a new one to replace it. The staff were really nice and charming. Salty, greasy, perfectly crispy. Very probably the best New England Greek-style pizza on Earth, which is for sure a "heaviest lightweight" type of title but a title all the same. No frills whatsoever here - cash only, nothing but pizza on the menu, one size (which most places would dub a small). Must have had the entire menu by now and I've never gone wrong yet. This was our first time. We were two couples, ordered a sausage & mushroom and an Alex special minus the olives. This was ample pizza for the four of us, each had half a pizza. Crust was good not soggy. The pizza are loaded with fresh toppings as you can see in the pictures. It was take out only. We chose to eat at Mechanics Park just down the street.
