Upstairs bartender was sweet as can be! Downstairs was busier, but manageable. (Coming from someone who has worked in the industry my whole life.) They just didn’t have someone on that could keep up… The bartender asked us what we’d like, told him we wanted 3 shots (same shot for all, nothing difficult ) and then proceeded to help others and never served us. We ended up walking out and leaving after 10 minutes of waiting. Suggestion: Have better bartenders in the busy area!
Edit: After the response from the business owner suggesting we stayed upstairs to drink, the reply is that there were customers all at the bar and it was an all around uncomfortable place to be. And as a bartender, once you take someone’s order, you make their drink… not go to another customer that came up after you, and then kept ignoring us when we DID try to get his attention. So now to add the post, the business owner is rude also. Down to 1 star you go!!!!
Great atmosphere! The owner understands good customer service and offers both an upstairs and downstairs for those who want to experience a different crowd - above or underground ! Play pool, darts, music, or a customized shaker for your special event. What a wonderful local bar to have in this community.
I really like it. It was a nice clean bar. Was visiting from out of town. Just wished I knew before getting there. They didn't take credit cards but they at least had a ATM. The burritos are the bomb!!
First time going here went with my friend last night we had a blast owner's are wonderful people bartenders are great it's a nice place to go to very clean everyone was so nice will definitely be a regular and keep coming back they make the perfect drinks thanks everyone 😊
Similar to other reviews, Cozy little bar, the staff/owner were friendly, the apple pie was top notch. Bar space was limited to about 5 spots so people are always reaching through to order.
We have been going to Polly's for years for the ski jumps. Always a great time. We miss Polly (a lot). But Antonio and Carrie are awesome. And our bartender Torrie was amazing. They were busy both nights but made us feel at home.
Moved back to iron mountain two years ago after being gone for 14 years. Antonio and Carrie made me feel like i never left all that time. All of the bar staff is super friendly and know how to make good drinks. Prices are good. Recommend anyone who comes to iron mountain to stop at the town's number 1 local pub.
