This is a food truck with covered outside dining. It is about as authentic Mexican food that you can get. Cooked fresh to order and outstanding flavor in the meats. There are lots of places to eat in Dumas, but this one is a must if you are passing through. Oh my goodness! We just had the best dinner at Pumbah’s in Dumas, Texas. It is a small food truck with a covered seating area, on W 1st St, just off of the main street in town, Dumas Ave. Three of us had chorizo quesadillas, with beans and rice. And I had a bean and rice burrito with a side of fries. The portions were great and the food was delicious! A perfect stop traveling through Texas. Best burger of my life. Super juicy, everything seasoned very well and I didn't confirm but the fries appear hand cut and were crispy and delicious. The Asada tacos were tender and seasoned excellently as well. The red and green sauces are super good as well; red was medium heat to me but very flavorful and the green was much milder but still had a good kick. I drove 40 miles to meet a friend who was traveling through Dumas. Neither of us are overly familiar with the food choices in town so I found Pumbah’s on google maps. Homemade tacos sounded good. The Asada Tacos, fries and sauce were much better than I expected, they were downright delicious. Great food, friendly people and good service will have me making a special trip for more.
